Tina: ..(oh my god .everyone is looking at me and the whole room is doing whirly things..time to R U N !!!!!!!)..shiteeh.look it is really late and I have been up since yesterday and really must go.bye

Everyone just looked on in amazement. Two minutes ago Tina was bearing her soul and now she was doing the biggest runner in history. Bette stood up and moved towards Tina. Tina took a step away from her and explained that she had to get her girls and go home. She didnt want them to sleep on the couch in a strange house and they would all need a lie-in anyway. Tina said goodbye to everyone and moved to pick up her daughters. Bette was completely gubbed she could not believe that things were going so well and then on the announcement that she was ***** it had all turned ***** up. Bette followed Tina into the living room after being urged by her friends.

Bette: Tina..lookwe all know that you are sleepy and that the bud has taken a hold of you.really what you spoke about earlier is already forgotten. Come on..please stay..leave the girls where they are look (Bette turned Tina around to look at her, she saw tears in Tinas eyes).oh Tina please dontthe only reason I told you I was gaywas because you asked.really I never planned for you to find out that way.in fact I never gave it any thought at all

Tina: Bette.its not that..i dont care whether you like women or men.honestI just need to get home..please..if you want me as a friend just let me go.home

Bette: (as Tina spoke she felt a kick in her stomach)..ok, ok.but only if I can help you ..(at that Bette picked up Lucy and walked towards the door. She was not going to let Tina leave on a sour note).

Tina noticed this and gave Bette a weak smile as she picked up Emma. Both women walked very quietly towards the front door of Tinas house. They struggled with the keys but finally managed to get in. Bette followed Tina to the girls rooms and helped her place them into bed. They then walked to the hall and stood in an awkward silence for a few seconds. Tina was the first to speak but as she did tears erupted from her along with loud sobs and cries. Bette stood and stared as Tina turned to walk away. As Tina turned her legs seemed to buckle from under her and at that moment Bette stepped in and caught her.
