The Gift Part Two Finale
Tina opened her eyes suddenly she always got this weird feeling that Bette was watching her, she always felt the brunette’s presence with her then she felt a soft chill on her arm.
“Bette” she cried her tears spilled from her eyes “Please come back to me”
Bette felt her own tears on her face “I promise Tee, I’ll find my way back to you” she then leaned over and kissed Tina’s soft lips. Bette looked into Tina’s hazel eyes, she knew Tina couldn’t see her and it hurt so much.
Tina touched her lips “Bette” she whispered again “I can feel you”
“I’m right here and this time I’m not going anywhere” Bette said meaning “I’ll be right here”
With that Tina drifted off to sleep feeling the Bette’s presence.
***************
The Next Morning
She awoke to the morning sun, she had lived to see another day Tina hated it she wished Bette was here to see the sunlight. This had been the longest month Tina’s life, Bette’s sudden death had been devastating to her robbing her of the life she once knew. Now her days were empty and hollow. The gang had been supportive; Kit came by every day to check on her making sure she took care of herself and to comfort her through the loneliness.
“I hate this” She screamed as she threw the pillow across the bedroom “why did you have to leave” Tina cried “I miss you so much” Her tears were like an endless stream.
“Please come back to me…. please”
Bette hated seeing Tina like this, she rested her hands on Tina’s shoulder knowing Tina couldn’t feel her touch “You have to be strong, Tee……. do it for me…. for our love”
Tina got that beautiful warm sensation over skin it felt so good “Bette” she whispered maybe last night wasn’t a dream after all. In her deepest moment of despair she always felt Bette’s presence it was so strong she wondered if Bette was really there with her.
She missed her so much the days seemed to be extra long and the nights were even longer and lonely without Bette by her side. The preparation for Bette’s funeral was so exhausting Tina had hated every second of it, feeling Bette’s presence had gotten her through some of the most difficult days.

Wow you almost had me going there! Sheesh, I almost cried. Great short story, I loved it!
Yes, I thought you did. Glad to be wrong!
Yes, landed with both feet dug in deep, I really did think you killed Bette – nice come back!
“(Did you really think I would kill Bette)”I don’t know other writers have done so..but I am glad to see you taken the Tibette path!
Damn, you really had me going. Glad to know you didn’t because that was really, really sad. Okay, which one of them was dreaming, Bette I guess. Is there more, certainly hope so. Thanks for posting.
I should have more faith in you. Thanks for not killing Bette. I love the way you reunited both of them again. Please another story.
Thank you for not killing Bette.PPS
I almost didn’t read it because I thought you meant it! So glad you didn’t!
I was really scared, but so glad that both Bette and Tina are alive as well as the baby.
I wish you could continue for a little longer so they can have the baby or whatever, without Bette’s affair, etc. Would love to see that little boy born to them and to have them happy, then Angelica.
Ahahha you got me there my friend, i cry on the last chapter lol. This is so good and wonderful, love it and glad to see they are together again. Thanks for sharing this story my friend!
