The Gathering 01.80 –  Fallen Pt. 3 – Closed Doors

Sam sat in the middle of the dessert, she was mere hours away from home and the sun was just coming up, casting a golden hue on the world in front of her.  Heading home, heading to her heart, her love.

Shane and home, they were now a part of one another, there was no home without Shane, just an empty house.  Shane was home, where her heart was.

It was official she’d forgiven Shane, and Shane damn well knew it.  Their three hour long conversations and Sam telling her point blank yesterday that she was still in love with her had clinched it.  The wind whipped at her and she closed her eyes, images of Shane; snap shots in her mind; love, lust, lost, longing.

Her mind snapped the photo show off making her long for Shane even more.  Sam looked at her bike.  It was gritty and dirty; and she was totally at peace with herself.  For once in her chaotic life, she’s found some peace.  And it had taken putting Gardner in his place to do so.

She’s arrived at Brian‘s door step at 3am a week after leaving LA.  He’d ushered her in, worried about her because Shane had called to tell him of her leaving.  She’d outlined her plan as he slid into a pair of his worn jeans, his face thoughtful.

“I know a lawyer.”  He said and put his shoes on and headed out the door with Sam; admiring her choice of transportation by commenting about dykes on bikes.

Three days later Sam had stormed into Gardner‘s New York office with her list of demands; and a few choice words for him.  What it had boiled down to was, that she had the evidence that would tie him to falsifying state evidence and if he ever lifted a finger against her or Shane again.  Or even thought about messing with her other businesses, she’d have Jo Wheaton haul his ***** to jail.  Nuff said.

She opened her grey eyes and pushed that day out of her head and thought about Shane love.  Home.  Security.  One hot ***** woman that she yearned for.

    1. “J.C. Marie, its Jo’s other persona.” How many do you have, my dear? “I was asking if you were gonna fess up and finally make up with Bette? Or were you going to keep playing this on again, off again thing until Bette gets totally sick of it and dumps you. For good!” God one Sam….I know she was hurt but she is grating on my nerves now.

    2. Knew you were Jo in another story, Tina needs to get her shit together. Wish Bette would stay away for a while . We all know that Bette started this but two wrongs don’t make it right. Tina could lose some friends if she keeps on. She forgets that Bette is a player Thanks bvh
