    “That shit is affecting your brain Kelly.” Jodi said angrily referring to the liquor. “You don’t know what you’re saying. Don’t listen to her Joyce … she’s just bitter.” Kelly could see the menacing look in Jodi’s eyes that said ‘don’t dare betray me or that death threat might very well become reality’ however her

    Kelly could see the menacing look in Jodi’s eyes that said ‘don’t dare betray me or that death threat might very well become reality’ however her indignation at Jodi’s admission of falling in love and wanting to marry Tabitha Wells fueled her defiance. She confronted Jodi with the same bravado she’d been able to muster a few days prior but this time she wasn’t backing down. She had nothing else to lose and having Joyce present gave her an extra sense of security.

    “I’m hardly bitter Jodi … as a matter of fact I’m relieved to be rid of you. You’re a leech; a fucking vampire. How could I ever think that I wanted to be with you? You lying bitch … Do you even know the meaning of love and commitment. You never loved Tina and you never loved me. You used both of us and now you’re using Tabitha. You’ll soon tire of her too or maybe she’ll leave your sorry ass once she finds out who and what you really are.”

    “Kelly that’s enough. We’ll have this discussion later. Joyce doesn’t need to be subject to our little domestic squabbles. She came here to tell us something about Tina so let’s get on with it. It’s getting late and I’m tired. I want to go to bed.”

    Suddenly the lights went out. Before anyone could react they saw the glow from a lantern being carried by a female figure. She entered further into the room. Illuminated only by candlelight she looked like an apparition.

    “I guess you better get on with it Joyce. We wouldn’t want Jodi losing any sleep over the fact that her wife has returned from a watery grave after missing for almost two years.” The familiar voice startled them.

    “What the fuck is going on here?” Jodi asked no one in particular.

    “It’s Tina!! … You see Jodi … I wasn’t making it up. I told you she was here haunting this house. Don’t tell me I’m seeing things now.”

    “Oh I assure you Kelly … I’m no ghost.”

    2. My God! I’m smiling like a damn fool at 1:05 am and my ass needs to be asleep cause I got to get up at 5 am for work. I was asleep but woke up several times to check for the post. FINALLY it was here and I just finished reading it! Tina gave a performance of a LIFE TIME! Tina Kennard wins the OSCAR for best actress! You go girl! You one bad ass BITCH! Babe In Total Control Herself!! Bette just topped it off by putting her arms around her. That was such a romantic moment! I had tears in my eyes at that moment! You are one AMAZING writer!     8. It was worth the wait. This chapter was fantastic! I loved that Tina was no longer a victim but victorious. All people should quit being the victim, but turn the tables on the abuser. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I hope there will be more chapters to this story, but it will be hard to beat this last chapter. No matter what, I do wish you the best in your writings and I hope that you are doing it as a career, you do have talents.
