    As she approached the office door of the woman she came to see, Tina heard a familiar voice behind her.

     

    CHAPTER 4

    As Tina had left her office, her first instinct was to go directly to Bette, to ensure that she relayed to her how touched she was by Bette’s deeply thought out message and choice of flowers..

    “the lavender Tulip represents that “love at first sight” feeling I still feel each and every time I see you, and the new beginning of our continued journey together.”

    Those words conveyed to Tina that Bette was serious about trying again and it caused Tina to get that butterfly feeling deep inside each and every time she was with Bette. The Bette Porter she had met and fallen in love with all those years ago had returned. In her own way, she was romancing Tina again, and just like the first time, Tina felt herself being swept off her feet by the gesture.

    Together, they had always had an intensity between them, a passion few people ever truly find in their lifetime. To have found that passion, that intensity, and that love twice in her lifetime, Tina knew was rare, and she was very thankful for the renewed opportunity. Although there was a lot of hard work ahead of them, Tina felt she was ready to try and have the life with Bette that she had always dreamed of.

    When she had walked out to the parking lot at the studio and got into her vehicle, she knew instinctively where she had to go. If they were going to have a chance at making this work, Tina knew what she first had to do.

    After a drive across town, she pulled into an open parking spot, and all of a sudden felt very nervous. She gathered her purse, and walked slowly into the building. As she approached the office door of the woman she came to see, Tina heard a familiar voice behind her.

    “Tina, hey, what are you doing here in the middle of the day?”

    Tina turned around to see Shane walking towards her. She smiled at her friend and walked towards her giving her a big hug when she reached her.

    “Hey Shane. I was just looking for Kit.”

    “I don’t think she’s here right now TK. I saw her leave about 15 minutes ago.”

Go to her Tina, a very good chapter Taz, I loved the talk, sometimes you need to hear it from another sources to know it’s the right thing to do, Shane struck me as a wise person despite all of her flaws but I know people are not all bad and full of flaws and they are not all good, they make mistakes that can change their lives forever cause they suppose to learn from them.     6. So….. Bette’s hoping it is Tina on the other side of the door, but Tina has gone to see Kit…… who just happens to be on the other side of Bette’s door…. Well, that is my theory anyway. I look forward to the next post.
