    Bette?

     

    I hugged her, desparate for even more contact, pressing my face against her shoulder… It amazed me that I could love like this… This intense and fully… Without any practice, ever. Me, Bette Porter, the woman who had always thought ‘love’ was just another word for self-deceive, had fallen for this woman with my whole heart and soul.

     

    Yes?

     

    She withdrew slightly, teasingly grazing my cheekbone with her indexfinger untill she reached my jaw, following it to the chin and made her way upto my lips…

    Every touch contained so much tendeness and love, I felt my heart swell up with a true and indefinite amount of love.

     

     

    Tina:

     

     

    Yes?

     

    Her voice was trembling just that tiny bit more, and it was as if my heart was translating every change in her voice to me… The butterflies in my heart and stomach flew up when I withdrew and her eyes met mine again…

    Now that Ive mastered step one…

     

    My heart began to race and I felt the adrenaline rush through my body as I, shaky, finished that sentence, afraid to look her in the eye

     

    Would you care to take step 2?

     

    It came out barely more then a whisper, and I avoided her eyes, afraid of what I might see… Afraid that I would lose the nerve to show her what I thought step 2 included… I caught her hand, that was still carresing my back and our fingers entwined shortly before I pressed it down… Towards the backpockets of my jeans she had been carressing earlier…

     

    Would you show me again, Ms Porter? So I can follow in your foot ‘steps’?

     

    She laughed, but this time my heart didn’t jump of fright or sadness as had happened earlier. This time I heard the sexiness in the low chuckle, the timbre of it that made the butterflies rush through my body with the speed of light… I glanced up, still shy, catching her twinkling eyes… As she leaned in to kiss me, her hands starting to do the miracle they had done earlier that day.
