Previously on the beginning of a friendship:
Tina:
We were just fooling around when at once I saw her stop and shake her knee a bit.
Hey, are you ok?
When she grabbed me I inhaled sharply…
Her touch…
Her presence…
My deep desire and love for her…
And when she started to tickle me my heart just stopped…

I couldn’t help the words I had thought so often to just roll out of my mouth

Chapter 32:
Bette:
Have I mentioned how I loved the way she pronounces my name? It’s a bit shorter that when others do… I can’t really explain it, but it makes me feel special… But when she stood there, panting, fire in her eyes, something deep inside me began to stir…
*God Tina… Why do YOU have to be straight?*
I backed away a little, still hearing her heavily breathing… The tension was filling the room and I went back to the tap, starting to wash up.
She drew nearer… I felt the invisible cord between my heart and hers relax a little as she got closer… I needed her closer…
*This is woman is gonna be the death of me…*
She placed her hand on my back as she took her place next to me and began to dry the dishes.
She was fast, faster than I could wash, so soon enough I was handing her the dishes and somehow with every plate ot glass I gave her our hands touched…
Everytime that happened I felt the swirling feeling in my stomach fly upto my heart… Goosebumps appeared on my skin and shivers ran up and down my spine, none of which was to blame on me being cold, for I wasn’t…
*On the contrary… Right Porter?*
We hadn’t spoken a word yet while washing up and again it struck me how easy it was just to be around this woman… The silence was bearable.. More than bearable… I actually enjoyed it…
At once she chuckled, I looked at her with one raised eyebrow

Two more chapters to go. Maybe you can miss number them and the next will be chapter 34. I guess as I have waited this long two more chapters won’t kill me right—Wrong! Can’t you make the next chapter two sentences long and then post the rest as chapter 34.
I must be in love because I am crazy as all get out. Rosy can call me what ever she wants. Bette finally said what was in her heart. Of course she was half asleep and mentally fatiqued, but she said it. Now the ball is in Tina’s court. I always liked the song “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face”. Celine Dion just brings the tears out of my body when I hear her version of that song. These two are really connecting emotionally and that is harder to do in any relationship. Enjoying myself, thank you for this wonderful story.

Hey why is everyone moaning and groaning? So we didn’t get a kiss (on the lips anyway…the forehead can count as half a kiss). However, Tina DID hear Bette tell her she loves her. Can I get a “yee-haw!”? Okay maybe not that but a nice big WEEEEEEEEEE! Now Tina just has to realize that that love isn’t the platonic kind. I wish your Tina would come tuck me in, but not before giving me a lower back massage because this pain sucks.
