Annoyed I shook my head trying to get rid or those strange thoughts, causing Bette to put her hand on my arm:
Are you ok?
*Again those shivers up and down my spine*
Yeah sure!
She placed her hand on my chin, urging me to look at her and minimizing the distance between us…
The sound of Bettes phone vibrating startled us both and again she picked up with that proffesional voice of her I found so incredibly sexy…
*Dont think that!!!!! Stop!*
Bette Porter Gallery, Bette Porter speaking…
While she was on the phone I turned around to watch a few of the paintings Bette had just pointed out to me, only to meet up with 3 pairs of eyes peering throught the window of the gallery just as I had done a couple of hours ago
No Alice… You dont have to come over, really, Im fine…
Bette? I announced, slowly turning back to her I think they are already here…
Smiling as they saw the shock on her face, Alice and Bettes other friends started waving and pointing to the door.
Seeing Bette hang up and watch her friends in ashtonishment I chuckled and walked towards the door to open it for them…
Hi there The funny-looking blonde called Alice, I had met the other night said warmly Nice to see you again!
Bette still stood there in ashtonishment so Alice took the job to introduce me to everyone,
Guys, this is Tina… She looked at me unsurely
Kennard, Tina Kennard I finished the sentence for her, and streched out my hand to the atletic-looking brunette in front of me
Dana Fairbanks She said, almost tripping over Alices feet as she tried to take my outstreched hand.
Ah! The tennisplayer! I remembered. Her eyes lit up as she said shyly Yeah
Letting go I reached out to the dark-haired, boyish looking girl standing next to her.
Shane McCutheon, nice to meet you Tina She said, and the grip of her hand was firm and pleasant.
Nice to meet you too, Shane
Suddenly I sensed it again, that swirling feeling in my stomach and it confused me
*Did Shane make me feel this way? First Bette, now Shane?*
Untill the cause of my feelings put her soft hand on my back and sweetly said:
Hey guys… What are you doing here? But I heard in Bettes voice that she was touched that they were all there.
*I could have known it was Bette that made me feel this way*
Are you kidding me Porter? Ive called you like a thousand times! You think you can leave us there and not worrying us? Geez!
I chuckled, Alice was really very funny
Yeah Bette Shane added when you leave your morning cappucino untouched something must be wrong, Are you ok? She asked and I saw the concern in all 3 pairs of eyes as Dana just nodded to underline the things her friends had just said.
I saw Bette wipe away a small tear that was about to escape her eye.
You guys are the best she hoarsely stated
Yeah, we know Porter… we know Alice chuckled, though looking at Bette curiously… I saw her hesitate and look at her other friends, Shane held her hands up as in surrender, and Dana just made an I-dont-know gesture with her shoulders…
Oh what the heck… GROUPHUG! Alice shouted, pulling Dana Shane and Bette in a tight embrace…
I couldnt help it, I laughed out loud… It was great to see those so clearly different but great individuals care for eachother so much…
Hey you!Alice caught my eye Were in a grouphug and youre not in it? Why? She said, winking at me… And now 4 pairs of eyes were watching me
And then it hit me… Those great individuals… They wanted to be my friends! And with one big smile I threw myself in the grouphug…

Can anyone get in on that group hug….LOL I’ve just caught upmon this story and i love it so keep the chapters coming. And don’t even think of Tina falling for Shane. The last thing i want to see is Bette and Shan efighting over the same lady. i think they both know that their friendship is more important than any chic and they would both pass on Tina immediately.

hi guys! I actually ment that she felt that way because Bette was approaching her, but she was shaking Shanes hand so she thought it was Shane who caused the feeling… Sorry… I guess it’s my English… it’s not my language ;)
I understood that it was Bette and not Shane that made Tina’s stomach swirl around. I like how you introduced all the gang to Tina and now have included her in the group. And this is even before Bette and Tina start their one of kind love affair (okay life together). I really am liking about 4 or 5 of the stories on this website. Of course yours is one of them. My poor BandT heart is broken and can only be held together by you guys’ wonderful stories. Can’t wait for the next post.

finally…tried to access your story all day yesterday and before but it was worth the trouble..i hope bette will tell tina soon about her feelings and i’m glad the girls accepting her as a friend…this was great, very emotional
