Lisa raised an eye brow

“Reeeaaally…so Tina you have a GIRLFRIEND?”

“Yes, and her name is Bette so if she ever calls you put her right through ok?”

“My, my who would have thunk it” Lisa smiled

“Is is hot?” Lisa asked

“Cuz, Tina if you don’t mind me saying you’re hot”

“Liiisa” Tina gave her a look.”

“Come on Tina lighten up we can be friends right?”

“Sure I guess, but lets try and keep in professional at the office please” Tina said as she reached for the card that was attached to the arrangement.

“Ok, MIIZZ.KENNARD” Lisa teased

Tina laughed

“Lisa, can you bring me a cup of coffee and let me know what Helena decides please”

“Right away Tina” Lisa said as she turned to leave Tina’s office

“Oh, and Lisa”

“Yes, Tina” Lisa turned as she reached for the door.

“Bette, is soooo hot, you have no idea” Tina winked

Lisa smiled as she walked out the door.

Tina opened the envelope and read the card:

Thank you for a wonderful weekend,

I miss you already.

Tina smiled as she put the card back into its envelope, and picked up the phone, and dialed Bette’s office.

“Thank you for calling the offices of L magazine and Art L.A, how can I help you?” James answered

“Yes, may I speak with Bette please”

“May I ask who’s speaking?”

“Tina Kennard”

“Please hold, I’ll check if she’s available”

Bette’s intercom buzzed

“Yes, James”

“There’s a Miss. Tina Kennard on line 1 for you”

Bette smiled

“Thanks, James I’ll take it, oh and James from now on any time Tina calls put her through, and let Allison know, thank you”

“Hey you” Bette smiled

“Thanks for the flowers they’re lovely” Tina said

“You’re welcome, busy morning?”

“Yeah, as soon as I walked into my office I was informed Helena wanted to meet with me”

Bette felt a twinge of jealousy.

“Hmm” Bette answered

“You?” Tina asked she smiled feeling a bit smug she could just imagine the look on Bette’s face on the mention of Helena’s name. She felt a little guilty as well.

“Same, I have a big staff meeting today with the heads of departments, I’m finding running 2 magazines a little overwhelming at the moment.”

“Awe poor baby” Tina teased

“Yeah, well someone tired me out this weekend, all I could think about last night while I was trying to write my notes was, this really hot insatiable blonde I spent the weekend with.” Bette teased back

“So, this blonde you talk about, does that mean she’s too much for you to handle? She must be a lot younger than you?” Tina tried to suppress a giggle

“Oh, don’t you worry about my younger girlfriend I can keep up with the best of them” Bette laughed

“So now you’re making fun of my age?” Bette asked

“I like older women” Tina laughed

“Well, you know being that I’m older, I can teach you a thing or two” Bette said in a low voice

Tina felt herself getting aroused by the mere sound of Bette’s voice

“I think we should stop this talking right now, or I won’t be able to concentrate on my meeting with Helena thinking about what you could be teaching me” Tina smiled

“Ok your right we’ll save it for later, can I call you later?” Bette asked

“You Better” Tina replied

“Thanks again for the flowers it made my day” Tina said

“You’re  welcome again” Bette smiled

“Bye T”

“Bye” Tina said

As the hung up the phone both let out a big sigh of content.
