“I’m afraid you won’t be able to, baby. But I’ll take you rehearsals on Friday. You can spend the whole morning with me at work and then we’ll go visit Auntie Kit. Would you like that?”
The little girl nodded her head. “Okay mama.”
“T, can you call Emily and ask her if she’s available to babysit this Friday?
“I’ll call her now.” Tina picked up the phone and called Emily. “Okay, everything is set. She’ll come over Friday at seven.”
Chapter 21
Bette entered the master bathroom. She leaned against the double sink counter and watched as blonde fill the large claw-foot tub with water and lavender oil. “What are you doing, baby?”
Tina, seated on the edge of the tub, looked up as she finished adding the lavender oil to the water. “I’m drawing you a bath.” She stood and capped the bottle. “You must be so tired after moving the boxes and furniture around the house today. Is Angie asleep?”
“She’s out like a light. She had a long day.” Bette rubbed her triceps, feeling the ache in the muscles. “I can’t believe how sore I am.”
The blonde walked over to Bette and placed the bottle of lavender oil back in its place in the medicine cabinet. She placed her hand on Bette’s hips and undid the tie of Bette’s robe and slipped the robe off her shoulders and placed it on a hook. “Why don’t you get in the tub and relax.” She kissed the brunette. “I’ll right back.”
Bette, pulling Tina closer to her, asked, “Where are you going, aren’t you going to join me?”
“I will. I just want to make sure everything is locked downstairs.” She left the room quickly.
Bette opened a bottom drawer and removed votive candles. She placed some of the candles on counter and pulled a chair closer to the tub. She dimmed the lights in the bathroom, removed her bra and panties and climbed inside the tub to wait for Tina’s return.
Tina stopped by the stereo system inside the bedroom and plugged her iPod to the stereo. She scanned her music selection and chose Gladys Knight’s “If I Was Your Woman”. She carried a bottle of wine and two glasses and entered the softly lit bathroom. The bathroom had a romantic feel to it. She poured wine in the glasses and handed a glass to Bette, who was watching from the tub. Tine undid the tie of her robe, revealing her already naked body and let the robe drop to the floor. She watched as the brunette’s eyes filled with desire. It gave her comfort to see her lover react to her that way. She walked over to the tub and climbed inside. She positioned herself behind Bette and adjusted the rolled up towel behind her head. She leaned back and urged Bette to do the same. “Mmmm…this feels so good. Doesn’t this feel good, babe?”

That was so adorable(Angie) and of course, our girls in the tub-thank you. I wonder how the search for daycares will go, I remember the scene on the show in Bette’s Office from Season 4-that was so funny, loved Tina.
Ok I’ve just thought how do you explain that to you child or act normally about it… Thing with kids that talk and say the most embarrassing things in front of people you’ve never met. So that whole scenario made me laugh as that happened today my 2 and half year nephew told his mom he was up late as he stayed at mine jeez. Great chapter as always.
Everybody get naked (lol)…that was more than close, but at least put a stop to things before Angie walked in on anything hit and heavy. Post soon!

Angie was too cute, not wanting to be left out on not wearing clothes, but it’s really just as well that Bette put the brakes on that before their daughter walked in. I’m sure they’ll learn a perfectly stealthy routine to work around her sleeping patterns, sooner rather than later. ;P Thanks for the post! :)
