She hadn’t even thought twice about her few moments of passion with Tim, and now this?  How much more fucked up could this be?  Way more, Tina thought to herself, she heard a sharp chuckle and then a voice she really didn’t need to hear at the moment, Bette‘s voice.  She was the one that had driven her to that desperate place, ***** her.  Then she bit it back, because she didn’t really blame Bette at all.

            “Tee?”  Bette said she was at her elbow, Tina hadn’t heard her before now.  How long had she been standing there?  She looked up; her eyes staring off into some space that Bette couldn’t even fathom where she was at the moment.  Bette blinked and Ro was at her side now too.

            “It’s about Alice Bella, something is up with her.  We are going to go out and try and find her, ok?  She was in the hospital and bolted on Bette.”  Rosita said, and Tina blinked back to reality, Ro hadn’t told Bette, oh thank god!

            “Oh, I’m going to go with you.”  Tina said her voice flat and emotionless as she stared at Rosita, then to Bette.

            “No, stay here, we need a base of operations.  Sam and Shane are out looking already, as are Lara and Dana.  She was in the hospital, she almost over dosed and now we don’t know where she is.  Can you stay here and man the phones?”  Bette asked, she was pale and worried.  She’d just told Catiana that their relationship was a mistake, she was still in love with Tina, and Catiana deserved much better than being the woman she slept with on the rebound. 

            “Yeah, sure I can, Ro can you stay here for a second?”  Tina asked and Bette raised an eyebrow and she left them alone.  Giving them just one glance back as she walked into the now finished kitchen. 

            She watched them from inside, Rosita’s father cursing in Spanish as he was laying down tiles in the hallway.  Bette saw how much Ro really did love Tina, had she ever look at Tina with that sort of love in her eyes?  She wasn’t sure, but watching them through the window was like watching a very good romantic scene in one of those sappy romantic drama’s that Tina loved so much.
