    Staring Into the Mirror Ch. 10 : Sunglasses and hoodies

    I missed you, Andie. Shane whispered into her ear letting her hand pet the back of Andies head.

    I missed you, too. Andie beamed as she talked.

    They pulled back and then let their lips find one another. Andies lips were reminded of the feeling Shanes mouth. She felt as if she was where she was meant to be in Shanes arms.

    God you look great. Shane said, pulling back to look at Andie. She only smiled as Shane pushed back her hair, which shined like onyx, from her gray eyes.

    It doesnt feel like I havent seen you for only two weeks. It feels like months. Andie leaned her usually pale cheek that was now a glowing pink on Shanes shoulder, inhaling her scent.

    Guess what? I brought a few surprises. Shane grinned and turned around so Andie could see Alice, Dana and Carmen walking out of the hall.

    Andies eyes filled with excitement as they saw each other. Alice ran to her and jumped on Andie. As she always did after going for a while without seeing Andie. Alice nearly knocked her to the floor.

    Oh my god! Alice squealed loudly. Dana, Carmen and Shane laughed.

    What are you guys doing here, trollop? Andie said hugging Alice before giving Carmen and Dana a squeeze.

    Well, we are using you as an excuse to come party in Vegas, of course. Dana said.

    Ooooo, Carmen! Zo will be so excited to see you! Andie leaned forward to half whisper. Between you and me, I think shes missing you like crazy.

    Carmen laughed. Well, just between you and me, I think I just may have missed her like crazy, too. She winked at Andie.

    Is she at the hotel? Carmen asked as they began to walk.

    No shes smoking. We got to go get her. Andie said, Shane taking her hand.

    Cool. Shane said. Should we pick up our luggage first?

    Yeah. Andie said dragging her to the baggage claim area.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Andie was laughing as they walked towards the smoking section. And they ***** believed your grandmother died?
    Alice laughed too. She even did the whole bull ***** fake cry.
    Dana began to give a special impression. She sniffled. No. Im pretty shook up about it.
    She began to shake with the pretense sobbing. The women laughed as they came upon the smoking section. Andie saw Zo sitting with her back towards them. Her hood was still up and smoke lifted into the air in front of her. Carmen walked forward and watched her quietly, a soft smiled formed on her lips. Andie and Shane stepped in front of Carmen; Andie pressed a finger to her lips to keep her quiet. She nodded and then let Alice and Dana move in front of her, behind Andie and Shane.
    Hey Z! Shane said after making sure Carmen was out of sight. Zo stood up and threw her cigarette into an ashtray before spinning around. She grinned and walked to Shane, her sunglasses still on.
    Shane, hey! Zo said and then hugged her tightly. Good to see y..
    She stopped when she saw Alice and Dana standing behind Shane.
    Holy *****! Zo gasped, she stepped to the two.
    We brought a spicy treat for you! Shane said. Dana and Alice moved apart revealing Carmen. Her lips were curved into a huge smile. Zos mouth parted slowly and she pushed her sunglasses down slightly, so she could peer over them at Carmen.
    Whats with the get up? All ready so famous that you have to wear a disguise? Carmen finally said.
    She wishes. Andie said from behind Zo.
    Zo smirked and took off her sunglasses then yanked Carmen close to her for a hungry kiss. She smiled against Zos lips. Not needing to ask if she was missed as the passionate kiss from Zo said it all.
    Dana whispered. So are we like the old married farts now and why do I get the feeling we wont be going around town much today?
    Alice jabbed her with her elbow.
    Because we wont be. Shane said as she clung to Andie, who laughed quietly.
    So should we go eat or just head back to the hotel? Alice asked.
    They all looked at each other.
    All right then, lets get to the hotel. Alice smirked.
    1. i usually don’t like it when people create characters, they never seem to fit…but i love what you’ve done with Andie and Zoe and the rest…it all fits well, and it’s sweet how much they missed each other…nice job
