    Preparation and Desertion

Daylight seeped into the room, and the dust particles in the air glistened. Shane turned to the center of the bed, expecting the other figure to be there, but instead felt the empty cold sheets. Her eyes slowly drew open, and her head rose in curiosity, for the woman she shared her bed with left without a word. This made Shane a little disappointedit wouldve been refreshing to wake up with someone who could plant a smile on her face, or at least greet her with one. She rolled onto her back and stared at the ceiling, her hands rest atop her stomach. She sniffed the airit smelled likebreakfast. Something that Shanes stomach growled for at the moment. She sat up and scratched her head as she yawned.

Her eyes closed as she stood and just let the aroma bring her out of the room. JennyI cant believe you cooked breakfast

    I didnt, she said.

What? Shane opened her eyes to see Jenny eating a plate of food, and she glanced over to see Carmen cooking eggs and bacon. I thought you left

Carmen looked over her shoulder at Shane, with a smile on her face, No, not yet She turned around and held out a plate for Shane. This is just a nice little gesture.

    1. That was a great chapter. For once I’m happy with Tab decision, so I still have hope for her to be on the good side. And Shane, so cute. Whant more of that side of Shane. Need a fix soon, please.
