Space Train – Chapter Two: Drowning Fish

Alice screamed not too loud for people on the street to hear but just enough for Tina and Angel to receive.

The girls come sprinting out from beneath their umbrellas. Alice smiled satisfyingly as she sees them jetting her way.

Alice: Oh my goodness. I’m so glad you two are here.

Alice said as she blocks the girls from diving in the water to save the two thespians.

Alice: My friends. They can’t swim. They’re drifting.

Tina: We see that. Move out!

Angel pushes Alice out of their way. Then within minutes the two lifeguards hauled in two shivering bodies.

    Tina: Are you two okay?

Dana: Yes, we’re fine now. Thank you.

Alice maneuvered herself in between the victims.

Alice: Oh yes, these two will be alright. I’m sure. Now how can we repay you?

    Angel: Oh no. That’s okay.

Alice: Nonsense! I have to repay you for what you just did. My friends are alive because of you. You just gave me back my sunshine. Dinner tonight and we won’t take no for an answer. Look at these two; I’m sure they would like to pay you back for saving their lives.

Dana chimed in like a bad actress trying to rehearse her lines.

Dana: Yes. You. Saved. Us. We. Were. In. Danger.

    Shane: Please let us.

Tina turns to Angel as to see if she was okay with it. Angel nods her head.

    Tina: Okay. Tonight.

The girls exchanged their numbers and off the three musketeers go leaving the two blondes a quiet moment.

Angel burst out an uncontrollable laughter just to be followed by Tina.

    Angel: Shallow?

Tina: Very. They could have just easily stood up and walk out from the water themselves.

Angel: Yes, but if they did that. Then they wouldn’t be having dinner with us tonight.

    Tina: That’s right.

Angel: Crazy huh? No one has tried to drown for my attention before

Tina: Crazy indeed but somewhat adorable in that crazy way.

Another round of laughs was let out before they returned to their hotel room.

Alice: Porter! What are you doing back so early, huh?

Bette: She cancelled. Something about her job, they needed her.

Dana: Awe. I’m sorry to hear that Bette.

    Shane: Yeah. You okay?

Bette: I’m good. She was nice; we really connected last night. I was hoping to get to know her better.

Alice grabs Bette on her shoulder before speaking her wisdom.

Alice: Porter, its cupid way of saying, she’s not the one you were supposed to “meet” here.

    Bette cracked a smile.

Alice: You now have another opportunity to enjoy your next 13 days here to “meet” any women you desire. This is paradise, Porter.

Bette looks at her friends one by one.

Bette: Yeah. Yeah. You’re right Alice. We’re in paradise. I’m going to “meet” everyone here! By the way, what happened to you two? Your clothes are soaked.

Alice: That’s not important. What is important is that we found two fucking hot blondes to go out with us tonight.

Bette: But there are three of you.

Alice: Dana and Shane can share Angel. I want Tina.

    Dana/Shane: Hey!

Dana: We will let them decide.

Bette: Is there room for one more?

    1. I do believe there is room for one more. Shane and Dana staying in the shallow part of the water and expecting Tina and Angel to save them was hilarious.
