The Witching Hour
The coven had worked tirelessly for two days preparing for the celebration. It had been Tina and Bette’s wish to have the ceremony on the beach and after that decision; everyone had taken over every other aspect of the night. Wanting to spend every moment they had together before Friday, they had allowed their friends to plan everything for them trusting their judgment. Tina had practically moved into Bette’s house not wanting to leave her side. They had discussed every aspect of Friday’s intervention. Bette knew her part and what to expect. It was going to be a daunting endeavor but they wanted to make sure they had not left one detail out. They had decided they would not speak about it again until Friday, hoping to enjoy the celebration they were about to take part in. They were lying on the couch on Tuesday night enjoying one another’s company.
“We should leave soon baby.”
“Are you sure they’re planning a bachelorette party?”
“Oh, I’m sure. They must have asked me twenty times if we could come by tonight for a pre-nuptial toast, what else could it be?”
“You know I think they are great but I would just as soon stay home with you tonight.” Bette was pouting now. Pouting Bette was just as effective as cute Bette. Tina put her arm around the brunette’s waist and snuggled up to her wondering how she was going to break it to her that she was going to leave tonight.
“I know baby, but well…I wasn’t going to stay tonight.”
“What? Why?” Bette sat straight up, taking Tina with her.
Tina hesitated. “We can’t see each other until the ceremony sweetheart. Well, after our ‘toast’ at the house, I’m going to go to stay home with the girls and you’re going to stay here tonight.”
“But, this is your home T.” Tina just about melted.
"Aww babe, you’re right, I do feel like this is our home now. But we have to follow at least one tradition. We can’t be together until after the ceremony. My mama told me if there’s one tradition I keep when I tie the knot, not to skimp on that one.”

Hey, you convey the happiness, longing, anxiouness, sadness, anger & craziness so well & all in 1 chapters. Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait for the wedding ceremony.
I have bad feelings about the wedding.PPS
You never cease to amaze me with your writing! I love this story, hope all goes well with the wedding! Wonder what Bette’s gonna do when she finds out about Tina’s plan with Denbo? PPS
Im sorry i dont comment often, but i do read every post, thanks for this story.
Wonderful update great story and can’t wait for the next chapter. Thank you again.
Only a short while to go until they start their forever. I hope Peggy and the rest can keep Faye Buckley away from the wedding, otherwise… grr. She’d better not ruin their night! Thanks for the post, JBM. :)
Wow what a great job of bringing across all the anxieties and doubts there alt on their plate without any outside intervention from Faye Fuckley. That was a good one. I can just see her crashing the wedding. I love Tina’s mom. She talks sense
” she wondered if at the end of the day she would really be able to stop her from doing something desperate in order to be with Bette.” – oooh – can’t wait – pps!
Hi JBMclovin, That was so loving and full of emotions. There was a true sense of Romeo and Juliet in these lsat two chapters. Tina is prepared to become a Vampire to be with Bette. While Bette has charged Alice with the task of ending her existence should all things fail.Shame is that Bette and Tina can’t tell each other these plans for fear of rejection as the other attempts to dissuade them of this path.Just so touching and sweet. It was fun to have all the gang together for one last night as the full moon approaches.More please as I can wait to read and savor every word. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
