So We Meet Again: Chapter 13

Hope: (opening the door) Hey Aunt Shane, could you please com she says and stops dead in her tracks when she sees Bette with her Aunt Alice hanging all over her. Shane my mom needs you; she said she was going to take a bath, but it has been awhile and all she is doing is sitting on her bed crying. Can you please come over and talk to her. she says now out of breath.
Bette: Could I please. she says looking from Shane to Hope.
Shane: I think that its a good idea. she says looking at Hope who is a little shocked. Here is my key Bette, you know where the house is. she says throwing Bette her key.
Bette: I do?
Shane: Tina has never moved.
Bette: Oh. was all Bette could say she couldnt believe that Tina had never moved out of their house.
Hope: I am going with her. she says and walks towards the door.
Shane: Hope, why dont you just chill here with Sam and E. she says giving her the trademark Shane look.
Hope: Fine. she says and walks towards Ethans room.
Shane: Go Bette.
Bette: Thanks Shane. she says and walks out the door.
It was a short drive but it felt incredibly long to Bette. When she finally arrived at the house she took in the sight and started to cry a little. This house held all of her dreams and all of her failures. As she walked up the steps and put the key in the door she felt a sudden rush of familiarity run through her body she turned the key and opened the door.
As Bette walked through the house she noticed all of the new things; Tina had stayed at the house, but she had changed it drastically. The one thing that Tina hadnt taken down that Bette noticed right away was the painting of their hands intertwined that was hanging above the entrance between the living room and the kitchen. Bette had always loved that painting; a very good friend of hers painted it the day they returned from there honeymoon. As Bette looked at the picture she thought of how young and vibrant they were on that day; so full of life with not a care in the world…except to be in the others presence. How life had changed so drastically; she could hardly remember what it was like to be that much in love.

It’s sooooooooooo good to see that you have posted again. From the innocents of babes, it funny how the kids figured out what B&T were up to before they did. I am so happy that they are finding their way back to each other, but I know that it won’t be easy with 2 tennage daughters. Hope don’t seem to be as happy as Sam is about the situation. Please continue :o)
Wow, it’s like holding your breath. I was dying, for another post from you. It’s great to see the girls getting along. Seems Hope is a bit hesitant, since it was her mother that was hurt. But, I think they can work thru that. But, she may not be to trusting of Bette, right away. But, it’s great that they are looking out for their mother’s best interest. The girls, especially Shane, is going to have to have to do some explaining to Tina. Great post, please post again, soon. Okay, sooner then last time, please!

All right the world is spinning correctly again. I was dancing up and down when I saw your post. I know how you feel about not wanting to write because of the show (Tina). But just remember that Laurel does not like what is happening to her character any more than we do. Keep that in your mind when writing and maybe think of Laurel instead of Tina. Maybe that will help get us past this Tina crap by remembering that Laurel herself wants Bette and Tina together. I love this!!!!

Hey Draemi, you just made my day… I’m making my comment with a huge smile on my face… so glad for the update. Fantastic as always. Its amazing how quickly the kids can figure out a way to minimize the chaos of their worlds. Now if we can get their parents to do the same….all will be well. Keep on writing. Yeahhhhh a post from you – I love this story (I’m not crazy about the other one, it’s so sad and depressing)…So great our girls sad down and talked and Tina has a right to be a little angry, but not for long, because she asked Bette to leave 16 years ago. Please make them forgive each other, so they can go on with their life togehter….post soon please :o))
