Tina just takes her purse and they walk to the car. At the road, Eric begins to talk about the gallerie owner, how great she is, and how much Tina would like her. Tina just smiles at Eric, but her thoughts are somewhere else. “Is this the reason he is so nervous?” she thinks. Eric just keeps talking about the ‘amazing miss Porter’ that Tina begins to think he might have a crush..

“Well, I can’t wait to meet her” she says, but she thinks “I already hate that woman for making Eric like her so much!”

The rest of the ride Eric talks about the gallery and miss Porter, while Tina just stares out of the window thinking about what will happen this evening. When they arrive it’s pretty busy, and as they walk in she sees a lot of familiar faces from other ‘art parties’ of Eric. They start to talk with some of them and after a while Eric looks at Tina with a big smile, and says: “come with me, I want you to meet someone“

Tina follows him to a couple of people. He taps a woman on her shoulder, and the women turns to face him and smiles. “Hey Eric, thank you so much for comming! “ she says. Eric just stares at her and says: “yeah.. hey.. uh, thanks for inviting me..” 

Tina is beginning to feel a little awkward, and she gives Eric a push.

“Oh, uh Bette.. I uhh want to introduce my girlfriend uhh..Tina to you” Eric is getting a little red.

Bette turns to Tina “Hello Tina, so nice to meet you!” As they shake eachothers hands, Tina is just overwhelmed by the beauty of the woman. “Nice to meet you too” she says. “If you will excuse me, I have to go to the ladies” And with this, Tina leaves them and walkes away.

She just looks in the mirror and holds her palms under the cold water. This woman is so stunning, ofcourse Eric likes her, maybe he even loves her. She can never compete with such a smart and georgious woman…

As she is standing there and thinking about this, somebody enters the bathroom……..
