    Sharmen: I Gotta Go… [Tidbit]

“Well, it took you forever to answer, and you weren’t out of breath when you picked up, which means you were trying to sound like you weren’t just doing something that takes a lot of energy, and its obvious that it wasn’t just running for the phone.”

“Hmm. I can never understand how you have your Yodaness, I just accept it.”

“Ah, that is a Yodaness all of your own,” Shane said in her best Yoda voice. They both laughed and Shane paused, remembering what she had called for.

“Right, I forgot. Anyways after you and Dana are done doin’ the nasty, want to go somewhere?”

“Why do you same ‘somewhere’ like it’s not a predetermined place? All we ever do is go to the Planet, Shane,” Alice said and whispered ‘stop it’ under her breath as Shane smiled into the phone.

“Tell Dana you’ll just be a second more, that girl needs to keep her hands to herself when your on the phone! And I said ‘somewhere’ because we do always go to the Planet, and I thought maybe we could do something different? Sound okay to you?”

“Yeah okay. Sounds great actually, but we can’t go till later, because we have to go shopping for stuff for the wedding. And Dana wants to get a look at bridesmaid dresses-”

“Im not ***** wearing a dress Alice” Shane thought about her harsh words and even though she knew Alice knew how it was meant she still corrected herself, “I mean, I wouldn’t wear a dress for anyone. Ever. So don’t feel bad. But I refuse.”

“Don’t worry I already thought about that, you can wear whatever you pick out when we all go shopping this weekend. But anyways-” Alice giggled and shooed Dana away as Shane was suddenly aware how quickly this conversation was going to be over. “We wont be about to make it till like 6ish. And that way Carmen can come too because she’ll be back from her mom’s, right?”

“Yeah right Dammit,” Now she had to find something else to occupy her time. Damn weekends, they’re good for nothing. “Okay, I’ll call you just before 6 and tell you what we’re doing, but I already have an idea.”

“Okay, that’s great Shane- Got to go, Love you sweetie-heehee,” Was all Alice could rush out before she clicked the phone shut hurriedly. Shane was actually impressed she had lasted that long with Dana’s persistent kissing and downright stubbornness to get her off the phone. So she wasn’t offended.
