    She’s waited and debated for far to long to let the moment pass. But you can never stop the truth from coming at you like a freight train. It all comes out the lies, the greed, the sex are going to test the heart of friendship.

    Bette was getting a little unsteady in her footing and her head was swimming. She pulled away from Tina breathing heavily and trying to get her mind around what her body just felt. Everything inside was beaming but she still couldn’t get around it. She felt guilty catching Tina off guard like that and she felt the need to apologize. She placed her hand on her forehead, closed her eyes and said,

     

    “Tina I’m sorry, God, I just…”

     

    Tina pulled Bette forward and attacked her lips again she threw her leg back around Bette’s body. Loving the way her smooth hand was caressing her thigh. Something in Tina drove her forward wanting more, from Bette. It was in this moment that her fantasy seemed to come to fruition. Tina broke the kiss to breathe, as she was resting her forehead against Bette’s, she could feel her hot breath hitting her chest as her hands that were wrapped around Bette’s neck began to play with her soft curls. Bette pulled Tina away from the door and lead her back to the couch. Her body was telling her to take Tina in the bedroom and ravage her like all her fantasies wanted. But it was her heart and mind that felt guilty for the moment that just passed. She sat down holding Tina’s hand watching the fire that was there earlier dissipate into fear of what was to come. It was now that Tina’s embarrassment started to set in and the crimson color started to rise up her neck.

     

    “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that.” At that statement Tina began to smile, never in her wildest dreams did she think that Bette felt the same way for her. The whole time when they were in school all the nights she just wanted to be the one Bette would share her bed with.

     

    “Probably just as long as me.” Tina said stroking the side of Bette’s face drawing her attention upwards towards her eyes. The shock of the statement caused Bette to smile timidly. It was now that every conversation with Alice made total sense. She thought Alice was just creating her own little fantasy of them together. But here she was stroking Tina’s hand after having shared the most passionate embrace she’d ever felt. It was Tina’s face that drew Bette out of her own fantasies. Bette saw the realization of the situation hit her, and her face showed that of a terrified teenager caught coming in late.

    3. Thank you. No cliff hangers, we all know where she is going.Bette must love her very much,It would be hard to cover up a dirty deed that someone was doing to the person you love. Glad that Tina head was like a movie in fast speed and could see what Bette had done to keep her from being hurt. thanks so much for posting.

    5. I know Bette was wrong to cover for Justine but she didn’t want Tina to be hurt. Stupid logic, but, she had T’s best interest at heart and because she loves her with all her heart. I hope Tina goes to Bette and talks to her to get her side of the story.

    7. Is Justine trying to make sure that if she can’t be with Tina neither can Bette? I know it’s all about to hit the fan, but I really hope that Tina will forgive Bette. However, that will probably require Bette to step up to the plate and refuse to lose Tina. Fantastic writing! Glad you got inspired again.

    9. The only fear that I have now is that Tina will go to Bette’s and jump all over her for not telling her about Justine. Thank goodness it was just a few months and not longer. I hope that Tina will understand that Bette was in a corner and did all that she could do.
