The reason why Bette didn’t answer her cell phone was because she decided to turn it off once she had left work. She was planing dinner for her and T and didn’t want Tina to find out. After picking up the sperm she drove to the grocery store for some ingredients. She decided to cook Tina one of her favorite meals: chicken with linguini and tomato sauce. Simple but delicious. After the grocery story, she passed by the florist and asked them if she could have petals of roses. The man brought her some and after paying she drove home. She placed the groceries and the sperm in the kitchen and went to the bedroom to change into something more comfortable. First, she cleaned the whole house. When she was finished, it was already 5 o’clock so Bette had to hurry up. She put on some water for the linguini while she set the table. She placed two candles in the middle and uncorked a bottle of red wine so it could breathe first. She created a path of petals towards the kitchen and dining table and also to the bedroom. She lit candles in the bedroom and scattered some petals on the bed as well after turning down the covers just a little bit. The glowing light of the candles brought a romantic atmosphere in the room. She quickly ran into the kitchen and roasted the chicken after inserting the linguini in the water. The chicken had to simmer for another five minutes and the linguini would also take five minutes before it was cooked. Bette then made her famous tomato sauce, with some special herbs and spices to give it that little extra touch. With everything cooked and ready, she lit the candles on the dining table and inserted a cd from Yann Tiersen, which Tina totally loved. Bette loved it to, but not as much as Tina. The soft, soothing and romantic music filled the room as Bette turned off the lights. The glow of the candles made everything look so beautiful and romantic. Bette looked at her watch. 5:55. ‘Just on time’ she thought. She took the two glasses of wine to the living room and poured herself and Tina a glass. She sat there for a few minutes, simply enjoying the music and the wine.
