The cold fog had iced the windows and seeped underneath the cracks to cool the room. Bette and Tina, in their pajamas had settled under their fuzzy covers to shield themselves from the cold.

Bette was watching Tina and Tina was watching the fog. She was remembering all those years ago what had happened to her, and trying to find the right words to explain it to Bette.

The weather seemed to compliment her emotions. They were all in a fog. On one part her heart was aching for her brother Louis, and on the other part her heart was dark and cold for Mary. How could two different emotions coexist as one?

Tina sighed and looked at Bette, "after Louis’ death my whole family fell apart. My dad became so sad and distant. It wasn’t long until my mother divorced, more for her own emotions towards my brother than the fact that he had been cheating on her with mistresses basically in every state.

"Mary went fucking crazy. I don’t know what happened to her. She started treating me horribly and blaming me for Louis’ death. I was 11 years old and I actually believed it. So she would guilt trip me into doing things. And if I would refuse she would say that I should take it as a punishment for killing my little brother."

Tina paused to wipe the tears that had spilled from her eyes and to sniffle.

"There was this game she used to make me play. It was the worst thing ever. It was kind of like a sick version of house you know? I was the man and she was the woman."

Bette gulped, she didn’t like where this was going.

"She would make me wear a strap on…"

"Oh God," Bette interrupted breaking into tears.

Tina dropped her head, "she told me all the kids were doing it and that I deserved it as a punishment. So I would…" She trailed off biting her lip.

"You fucked her with the strap on?" Bette said meekly.

Tina started sobbing, "I felt so ashamed. I didn’t understand it but I knew that it was wrong and I never said no to her."

Bette wiped her tears and looked at Tina, "do you still feel ashamed?"

    1. Well, I had a feeling that there was more to Christian, and sure enough there is. Can Bette and Tina trust hI feel that it will be hard for Tina to forgive her sister. Great revealing update!!

    2. i had a feeling something was up… and i also wondered if tina or bette picked up on christian’s name… of course mary felt bad for what she did to tina.. and she went and named her son after her sister and brother… it will be interesting to see if tina forgives her and then will eet with her… great twist… pps

    3. Amazing twist didn’t see that coming.. No matter what a person’s reason for lying it’s still a lie and for Christian to involve a young child like Angie is not really a good idea. If he wants to stay with the family then he needs to tell them the truth.. Thanks for this story and looking 4ward to ur next post!:-)

    4. Well he has certainly started off on the wrong foot. Not only is he a little liar, he has now involved Angie in deceiving her parents. And now I don’t trust him in any way and certainly not around the children without their parents present. Hopefully Bette will start to see the cracks in his story, little things tat he might slip up on. No one can lie forever without getting caught, and hopefully it’s sooner rather than later, later might be too late. He is no better than his mother. And who the hell is Patty? Is she a legitimate social worker, no social worker I’ve ever heard of would risk their professional license for a client and a lying one at that and that would give them adoption papers without a court appearance before a judge. I knre I smelled a rat when this kis showed up with a complete story. But I gave him the benefit of doubt because of his sad assed story. Bette, Tina, lock up your valuables and your children and keep them away from this little lying, coniver. Thanks for the update.

    5. Im torn between understanding why he lied because he wants tina to forgive his mother, but he involved Angie and its still a lie plus the social worker needs to face losing her license…where they do that at??
