    PUSH and PULL 5

    The next day…

She was staring blankly at a piece of paper, flipping the pen though her fingers. For the first time, everything just seemed to go out of hand. An artist she’s been wooing for months suddenly backed out. But what’s worse is that she couldn’t care at all. She then closed her eyes until a familiar name escaped her lips….Tina.

She then took a deep breath, and rang the buzzer.

    "Yes, Ms. Porter."

"Will you get me the number of a flower shop? Will it be the same Ms. Porter. Red, white, and yellow roses, a dozen of each kind?"

"No, I just asked for a number I’ll take care of the order. Perhaps I could use a new flower shop."

Tina then looked through an online directory and found one near West Hollywood.

"Ms. Porter, the florist is on line one."

    "Thank you, T."

    Tina almost felt herself blush.

    T. No one has ever called me that. Bette’s never had the sweetness in her voice. Gentle, maybe, but never sweet.

Just when Tina’s heart was about to melt for the ice queen, she then reminded herself of how foolish she could be. Of course, the flowers are for Jodi– who else, but her sophisticated, smart, and talented girlfriend.

Before pain got any chance to swallow her whole, she tried her best to ignore it and drowned herself into tons of paperwork, like there’s no tomorrow. Every minute for her is all accounted for.

I should have all of these done before 1, before the presentation with the Peabody Foundation.

    Bette’s Office

I’m not sure what kind of arrangement I’m looking for. Perhaps it could be less complicated. Yeah, simple but special. Tulips will be good. Throw in some tropical flowers, too.

Who it’s for? There’s no occasion really. I want the bouquet to say, something like– I’d like to get to know you better. As simple as that, no hidden agenda. Ok, sorry for the trouble and thank you very much.

Bette then slouched on her swivel chair and sighed after she hung up the phone.

I never thought it could be this hard. I’ve done it a thousand times. How could it be any different…

Her thoughts were interrupted when Jodi suddenly opened the door into her office with something on her hand. A naked lady with tussles and unruly locks of hair and deep brown eyes. The sculpture simply resembles her. With its light mocha flesh, it could only be Bette.

    1. Things are getting heated!! I think Tina needs to get out of Bette’s office and into Helena’s ….. ONLY to make Ms.Porter more than interested!! I hope Tina has thee most jaw dropping, sexiest “make over” that she oozes sensuality and confidence and feels more like Bette’s equal!!!! :)
