Shane and Carmen are still arguing whether someone should tell your girlfriend if they’ve kissed their ex.

Carmen: Shane, don’t you realise. If you keep it inside, it’s like gonna eat you alive.

Shane: But you have to find the right time, I mean what if you just got back together with that person.

Carmen: I know it’s gonna be hard, but they deserve to know the truth.

Caught up in their arguement, they didn’t even notice that Bette and Tina was there.

Shane: Do you think she told Alice then?!

Bette and Tina suddenly got interested.

Tina: She told Alice what?

Shane and Carmen didn’t hear and continued.

Bette: Guys.

They continued.

Tina: Shane?

Bette: Carmen?

Shane and Carmen both turned, not realising it was Bette and Tina.

Shane & Carmen: What?!

Bette and Tina looked at them. Shane and Carmen looked guilty.

Carmen: Oh my gosh, we’re sorry.

Shane: Sorry, we didn’t mean to shout.

Tina: Okay then.

Bette: Can you tell us what’s this quarrel both of you are shouting about?

Shane and Carmen looked at eachother.

Tina: You said something about telling Alice something.

Shane: Uum…you see…Alice and Dana are back together.

Bette: (looking happy) I’ve heard. That’s wonderful!

Tina: So what are you guys shouting about?

Shane: (looked at Carmen) and uum..Lara was here..couple of days ago.

Tina: Oh, anything…happened?

Shane: Lara’s getting married.

Bette and Tina with shock look on their faces.

Carmen: Not to Dana.

Bette & Tina: OoOh.

Shane: And when Dana took Lara to the airport. They uuh…

Bette: They?

Carmen: Dana and Lara kiss.

Bette and Tina looked shocked again.

Shane: It was kinda like…a good-bye kiss. I think.

Carmen: It didn’t mean anything.

Carmen saying to lighten up the situation. Bette and Tina looked relieved.

Tina: Has Dana told her?

Shane: That’s what we’re…talking about.

Bette: She kissed Lara? Lara Perkins?

Carmen: One and only.

Dana entered and saw the gang talking about something. She approached them slowly.

Bette: (spotting Dana) Dana!

They all saw her with a guilty look on her face. She sat down next to Bette.

Dana: Guess you all know the BIG secret, huh? (smiling fakily)

Tina: It’s alright sweetie. Alice would understand.

Bette wrapped an arm around Dana shoulder.

Bette: It’s alright Dana.

Dana: I don’t know how to tell her. I’m really scared.

Carmen: Where is she by the way?

Dana: She’s coming.

Tina: Do you want to tell her?

Dana: Of course I do but I don’t know how or when..

Carmen: It’s alright Dana…

Alice: (smiling) Hey guys!

Alice sat down next to Dana and put her arms around her waist. Everyone was quiet and shifted looks, Dana just looked down to the ground. Alice was waiting for a reply, smiling.

Tina: How..how are you Alice?

Tina said breaking the silent and the obviousness that something’s up.

Alice: Fine thanks, TINA.

Bette clearled her throat. Dana looked up.

Alice: Is there…something wrong?

Yes Dana thought.

Shane: (quietly) No.

Alice: (miming) Okay. (turning to Bette and Tina) So how are you?

Bette: We’re fine thanks. How’s…both of you?

Alice: We’re great…Dana? (seeing Dana motionless)

Dana: Huh? Uh yeah. (nodding slightly)

Everyone was quiet once again, Alice was watching their expressionless faces.

Alice: Okay then.

Alice was sensing that there was definitely something up, that she didn’t know about.

At the pier…

Alice parked her car where her and Dana could see the sun in the horizon. It had finally cleared up and the sun was glowing beautifully. The radio was on and softly playing in the background. Dana looked nervous as ever. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Alice placed a hand on Dana’s lap.

Alice: Everything alright?

Dana: (smiled weakly, nodding) Yeah.

Alice: Are you sure? Everyone looked…tense back there. Is there something I should know..about?

Yes.

Dana: No, don’t worry.

Alice: (looking a little disappointed) Okay then, if you say so.

Alice took a deep breath then sighed.

Alice: It’s nice you know, (turning to Dana) only us two.

Dana couldn’t take it anymore, she has to tell Alice. It was now or never. Dana turned off the radio.

Dana: Al.

Alice: (smiling) Yeah…

The sky started to darken up.

Dana: Al, I kissed Lara.
