Carmen: Better tell Bette and Tina the good news. They would be so happy.

They walked in, Dana talking about how they should celebrate the special occasion.

Dana: Yeah we should go out somewhere just you, me, Shane, Carmen, Bette and…

Dana stopped when she saw Lara and Maria having coffee.

Dana: …Lara..

Shane & Carmen: Lara?

Alice: What?

Finally they saw Lara with the other woman.

Shane: Oh..Lara.

Dana: I don’t want to be here. (turning around)

Alice: (following Dana) Me too.

Before they could reach the door, they heard Lara call over to them.

Lara: Dana!

Dana stopped and turned around and put a smile on. Lara gave Dana a hug.

Lara: Hi, how are you?

Dana: Good, what are you doing here?

Alice looked uncomfortable and she felt the feeling coming back.

Alice: (clears throat)

Lara broke off from the hug and turned to Alice.

Lara: Alice, hi.

Alice: Hi.

They stood there in silence and awkwardness.

Carmen: So Lara, what brings you back here?

Shane: Forgot something?

Lara: No, I wanted you guys to meet someone.

Alice: Weren’t we just going, Dana?

Dana: Bye.

They turned around but stopped when Lara grabbed both of their hands and dragged them across the table.

Lara: Just a moment, it’s really important.

Alice looked at Dana. Shane and Carmen followed. When they got to the table a brunnette stood up and greeted them.

Lara: Dana, you know Maria.

Dana: Yeah, hi.

Maria: Hi, nice to see you again…sit down.

They all sat down. Lara and Maria all smily.

Shane: So, what’s this important..thing.

Lara: Well…

Lara lifted up her hand and showed them her ring. Dana’s eyes big with amazement.

Dana: (shocked) YOUR GETTING MARRIED?!

Lara: (all happy and stuff) Yeah, she proposed right after we won the competition.

Alice saw how amazed Dana was, it was like she couldn’t believe that she was getting married to someone else and couldn’t believe it was her.

Alice: That’s great, isn’t Dana?

Dana: (turning to Alice) Wha- (back to Lara) Yeah, it’s great my gosh. That’s really…..suprising!

Shane: Congratulations.

Carmen: Yeah, congratulations.

Dana: Wow! I can’t believe this!

Alice: So how long are both of you staying here?

Lara: Just for three days, I just wanted to show Maria around.

Dana: Aw, hope you could stay longer.

Lara: Yeah, me too.

Alice: (murmering to herself) Don’t we all.

Dana: (turning to Alice) What’s that Alice?

Alice: What? Oh nothing, I just said that I remembered that um my doctor called and he said that I needed to get..something.

Alice stood up.

Dana: You need me to come with you?

Alice: No, no I’ll be fine. You stay here with Lara..accompany her. I’ll see you at home, ‘kay? Bye. (turning to Lara and Maria) And congratulations, both of you.

Lara & Maria: Thanks.

Alice: Okay I’ll see you. Bye guys. Dana: Bye Al.

Alice walked out and Lara and Maria continued talking to Dana. Carmen looked at Shane and nudged her.

Shane: Hey, guys. Hold on a minute I forgot to tell Alice something.

Shane walked out and ran after Alice.

Shane: Alice!

She caught up to her. Alice continued walking looking down on the ground.

Shane: What’s up?

Alice: You know what’s up.

Shane: Alice, not this again.

Alice stopped and looked at Shane.

Alice: Not what. (sarcastically) Oh my god, I am just here to show Maria around…***** bullshit, we all know she’s here because of Dana.

Shane: Al, there’s nothing gonna happen. Stop thinking of the worse.

Alice: How would you know? You know what happened last time.

Shane: They’re getting married…

Alice: Obviously Dana couldn’t believe it either.

Shane: Dana came back here for a reason and one reason only. To get back with you, she really loves you and I think she expects you to trust her that nothings gonna happen. She doesn’t want to hurt you okay.

Alice: Yeah but we just got back together.

Shane: Well don’t ruin it for yourself okay?

Alice nodded.
