    Part 10 Bette awoke the morning after giving birth to her son Nicolas to find her daughter Angelica leaning across the body pillow that lay between them.     Bette awoke the morning after giving birth to her son Nicolas to find her daughter Angelica leaning across the body pillow that lay between them. With her chin resting against her forearms the five year old was almost mesmerized as she stared intently at her mother’s sleeping form. When she first opened her eyes she didn’t recognize her surroundings but then she remembered that they were at the birthing center as the events of the previous evening replayed in her young mind. She started to climb over the soft barrier in the middle of the queen-sized bed but when she sat up and saw Bette sleeping on the other side she hesitated not wanting to disturb her.

    Angie then looked around the room for her mother’s friend Ms. Barbara but she wasn’t there. The night before the senator had kept Angie’s company until they’d both fallen asleep. Barbara read her a bedtime story but the little girl was fighting sleep so they talked and Angie was delighted to learn that Barbara was fluent in French. After practicing a few new phrases Barbara shared stories of her childhood and growing up with a younger brother. They talked about the movie that inspired Angie to learn French and also to call her brother Le petite.

    Finally Angie gave in to sleep once Barbara turned down the lights and lay next to her in the bed with whispered reassurances that they would wake her once the baby was born. It wasn’t Barbara’s intent to fall asleep too, she was simply comforting the child but she was still jetlagged from having spent the three previous weeks at her home in Washington DC. When her head hit the pillow she fell into a slumber only to be awakened by Molly when Bette went into the delivery room. Afterwards she stayed up sitting in the chair watching Angie until Bette was brought into the bedroom after giving birth.

    As Angie focused on Bette’s shrunken baby bump she was curious to know where her baby brother was. She figured he had to born because Bette’s stomach was significantly deflated even if it wasn’t completely flat. Her mother and Barbara both had promised that they would wake her once Nicolas was born so she was a bit disappointed not to see him.

    7. Hi BAT! Thanks for the update. You know that I like B and T to be together but given the circumstances that had happened between the two of them… mmm.. i think I wouldn’t really expect more. Personally I couldn’t accept what Tina has done to Bette. Letting Bette to be imprisoned for how many years! WTF! I think Bette will always be an Ex-con and that doesn’t suit well for me.

      You can always forgive but forget? i doubt it. The scar is too deep. But of course TiBette love has always been different most esp. in fan fics. Somehow it surpasses everything.

      I’ll still hold on to your story coz I love it.

    9. I hate to see them like this…the hurt the fights the cheating is all bad…but when they move on from each other that’s the worst pain to me..it feels like the greatest love is over…sigh… I hope for wonderful outcomes but I don’t think that’s gonna happen with them together

    12. I enjoyed the story development on this particular story. I am a Tibette fan, but in this story, I don’t agree that they should be together. From Bette’s talk with Shane, she acknowledges the problems of the past and doesn’t blame Tina but takes responsibility for her part in the problems. Tina has yet to do that…until she does, any relationship with her would be unhealthy for Bette and undesirable. You mentioned possible post partum for Tina and it is obvious that she needs therapy to come to grip with her her part in their sad saga. Bette would do well to steer clear of her and not risk her health and sanity and that of her family with Toxic Tina. I do hope you will complete this story…without the sugar-coated ending.
