Bette yes I’d love to but can we go in your office please as she suddenly sees Tina and Alice walking into the Planet.
Kit : sure baby let’s go.
Bette and Kit leave for Kit’s office where they could continue their conversationin private which hasn’t gone by unnoticed for Tina though.
Tina (thinking) : hey Bette’s back but why is she avoiding me? Oh hell I will find out later.
Kit : so are we suddenly avoiding Tina?
Bette : no I am not Kit but she doesn’t need to know what my plans are, she’s sleeping with the enemy remember?
Kit : oh yeah I forgot. Tell me about New York were you looking for artists already?
Bette no I had an appointment with Peggy actually.
Kit : Peggy as in Peabody?
Bette : yes Peggy phoned me a few days ago after she found out I quit CAC and she wanted me to go see her in NY. She is going to invest in my Gallery and she is withdrawing her fundses from CAC. She also intents to get Helena fired from the Board.
Kit : OMFG that will mean war baby sis I don’t think Helena is going to leave it at that.
Bette : yes I know and that’s what I’m afraid of and why I didn’t want anybody to find out yet.
Kit : But why is that Peabody woman so eager to help you out Bette?
Bette : I don’t know Kit, we have a special bond I guess and she said I reminded her of her when she was younger so. But please keep all this inside this office ok?
Kit : sure baby sis you can count on me, my lips are sealed. I’m just happy you can pull through your dream again and if you need a hand please don’t be afraid to ask ok?
Bette : thanks Kit I appreciate that. I need to get going now I still have a lot to do.
Kit : sure baby girl, see you.
They hug each other and Bette leaves the Planet heading home. She has been working quite a while when she suddenly hears someone at the door. She walks over and when she opens Tina is standing on the porch.
Bette : hey what brings you over?

I can understand Bette not wanting Tina,but Her Heart and body overrules her mind. I hope she doesnt become to weak and tell Tina everything. I dont believe that Tina would tell Helena anything concerting Bettes buisness, but might slip and tell Alice the the whole world would know. thanks
Ummmm…let’s see how can I put this…yes Bette and Tina were married or are still matried…but Bette said no…so in essence Tina raped her…and Belena…is THIS what you are going to do to us Tibetters? Have their relationship reduced to this? I am sad. Why is Tina trying so hard to find out Bette’s business plans? Something is up. Don’t get me wrong I love the writing and the feeling put into this but this is wrong.
What Tina did to Bette was so wrong. Bette said no and that should have been the end of it. Tina needs to back of and give Bette her space. Thank you
It sucks when your body says one thing and your mind says another. As much as Bette may want to keep things b/w her and Tina friendly until Helena is out of the picture obviously her body reacts to the slightest touch from Tina. If Tina really does still love Bette she will end things w/ helena for good (nice lady or not). Peggy is great and how wonderful for her to fund Bette’s new gallery. i hope it all works out for Bette and that she and tIna can work things out.

I don’t understand why Tina keeps coming back to Bette, fucking with her, literally and figuratively and then returns to Helena. I can’t believe Bette is so weak to sucumb so easily to Tina. Be strong Bette. Just say no
She did say no Sulyrum…at least 3 times…clearly Tina didn’t listen…which leads me to believe THIS Tina has an agenda.
I feel for Bette and I’m angry with Tina. If this is what Tina wants then why is she still with the dragon?
I’m glad I’m not the only one who would call that rape. I’m definitely confused with all the I love you/I hate you business. That reminds me, any particular reason for making the “I hate yous” stand out? tylo’s comment from the last chapter still stands in that Tina is a dumbass.
Well I think skycaptain said it best, it sounds like Tina raped Bette. Even though Bette’s body betrayed her and enjoyed the sex, Tina forced herself on her. That is sad. I enjoy your story, but it broke my heart. Especially when she tucks Bette into bed and she is still crying. Post again soon.
I’m in agreement with everyone that calls Tina’s actions rape. Now if Bette had done the same thing, Tina would have gone running from the house straight to Alice. I don’t fault Bette because her body responded; its called being human. But I do think Tina carries more bullshit within her than the law allows. How could she have the audacity to tell Bette that she loves her while she is kcuf’g someone else. I hope by morning, when Bette wakes, the first thing she does is put Tina out her house!!

Great, Bette can start her own gallery again with the help of Peggy. Loved the dialogues and interaction with Peggy very much. Tina is playing dirty games, I’m sure of it….but I wouldn’t call their intercourse rape. It’s not because the body reacts to it, that you can’t say no. If Bette didn’t want it to happen, she still could have said no. In my opinion the only reason for her crying is that she knows she’s still not over Tina and over her own guild to say no to her. I sure hope after this she will come out stronger again and tell Tina to get lost. This Tina you’re portraying sucks
