Bette smiled and as soon as she heard the bedroom door shut, she got of the chair and followed Tina to the bedroom, taking of her clothes in the process. She opened the door and found Tina lying naked on top of the covers.

“What kind of complaints do you have, Ms. Porter?” she asked, trying to keep a straight face.

“Well, Ms. Kennard,” Bette said seriously, crawling on the bed and straddling Tina, “My only complaint is that you don’t give me a chance to have any…you are perfect. I love you, baby…let me show why and how much.”

“Babe, did I tell you that we are leaving for Boston tomorrow?” Tina said, brushing her teeth couple of hours later that morning.

“No,” Bette looked inside the bathroom with a question in her eyes.

“Sorry, but we’ll be leaving tomorrow night and return back on Monday.”

“Great…I can’t wait to see your family. I hope they like me.”

“What’s not to like, babe. You’re a lady, a charmer, a great lover and a best friend. You are intelligent, gorgeous, kind and sexy…”

“Stop it, Tee…you are making me blush. Aren’t you afraid that I will get a big head from all this flattery?”

“As long as you stay with me, I don’t mind.”

“Great, let’s see how you will handle me then. I can be unbearable when I’m bitchy…anyway, how long is the drive to Boston?”

“Um…Bette, we are not driving there, we are flying…”

“Flying? What do you mean, flying? Like a bird flying?” Bette asked with fear and confusion in her voice.

“Oh…sorry, baby. I forgot that you have never flown before. Remember, we watched that movie and the people were getting on a huge plane?”

“Yes.”

“This is exactly what will happen to us tomorrow.”

“Tee,” Bette replied in shock, “The movie plane crashed.”

“That doesn’t happen very often, honey. And planes are the fastest way to get to our destination. It would take us almost 2 days by a car and only 5 hours by plane,” Tina replied, sitting down on the bed next to a nervous Bette. “I know you’re used to riding in carriages everywhere and you might actually enjoy a 2-day long journey but I prefer it fast and efficient. Is it okay, babe?”
