One Step, One Day, One Decision
What happens at the end of a fairy tale? Do the characters really live happily ever after, with a perfect existence and a miracle life? Are there any divorces in those stories?, any left behind children that the speaker wouldnt like to make known to the listener? Will they have little Snow Whites running around, basically the same height of those seven dwarfs? Probably not. Life is never as sweet as ones may read in a story or see in a movie. Everybody knew this from experience, even when life was good it was never great. Even with love comes trust and when your love is strong is the trust? Why does it take two to tango and only one to take it all away? Who made these rules and why must be follow them?
Alice sat on her bed feeling guilty for not trusting Dana. However there was still an edgy feeling picking at her even after Dana had come home proclaiming the nights innocents. It bugged Alice that she had become the one thing she loath: Needy, dependant…not trusting of the one she was kissing. She could trust Dana, she knew that. Could she trust Lara though? Yes, yes i can. She would muttered but not before dialing Danas number and staring at it. It became a game, would she call or not? Yes or no? Shes hit send but just as fast as she had, shed close her phone and walk away.
Tina awoke from her first good nights sleep in ages. Bette wasnt there and this sadden Tina until she remembered about her father. How hurt Bette looked these days, and so close to the babys birth. Tina hated to see her so upset, she wanted to reach out and hold her and sometimes she would. The more she thought about it she really wanted to be able to do that all the time. She wanted Bette back, a home and baby creating a perfect family. How different would it be to come home with a baby and a wife there to love me and for me to love? Not different. Tina thought. But perfect.
Shane ate her cereal while staring at some Jenny had written on a napkin. Quick thought. Shane thought to herself. It was hard to read because of how fast she must had wrote it but it was still legible. To love you means embracing everything that was in those eyes, and admitting to myself that life and love were often messy, bleak, and powerfully capable of breaking me. Shane put it back on the couch and placed her bowl in the sink. Jenny was still in her room and had been there for most of the morning. Shane stared at the napkin on the couch quickly and left the house in a hurry.
