“She loves me?” Shane thought. It was hard for her
to even digest but that’s what she had been meaning to tell Carmen all
along. That she loved her. But she thought it wasn’t the best time
since Carmen still had to deal with Freddy and his broken heart. Carmen
had spent most of the afternoon at Shane’s trying to figure out what
she would say to him. She had been supportive and comforting like
always. Carmen began to feel all the little feelings that one would
feel when they were in love. The butterflies, even as it sounds so
superficial, became immune to her system. But if she was to search for
them real hard, she could feel them fluttering around inside whenever
Shane was near. They were both facing one way on the bed, Shane’s arms
wrapped around Carmen. She had busted Carmen within her thoughts as she
peered over her shoulder to check if she was awake.
“Why are you smiling?” Carmen smile widened. She rolled over, now
facing Shane, and began to try and explain.
“I think I have butterflies.” Shane continued to stare at her and for a
moment she regretted admitting it. But a small smile was also found on
Shane’s face. Shane began to ruffle around the bed turning Carmen on
her back and crawling in between her legs.
 ”Butterflies hey?” Carmen began to giggle. Shane started to kiss
her neck making her way down to her collar bone. Carmen closed her eyes
enjoying the moment. ***** wasn’t an option; they had already played it
out. Considering how things were going though, too much wasn’t a bad
thing.
 ”Where are they? Are they here?” with that Shane kissed the
center of her chest. Carmen softly let out a moan. Shane smiled into
her next kiss that was placed right above her stomach.

“Are they here?” she continued. Carmen grabbed onto the pillow that lay under her head and brought her legs up to Shane’s side.

“Shane stop.” She was still smiling.

“How about here?” Shane moved to the bottom of her stomach right under
her navel while managing to keep her lips in contact with Carmen’s
tinted skin. She bit her bottom lip and gave in. She couldn’t take it
and pulled Shane up to her lips and let her have a good taste. “I love
having you here in my bed, next to me.” They had stopped in the middle
of their kiss to look at each other. Carmen was scared as she looked
into Shane’s green eyes. She had told her that she loved her but Carmen
had no response back. But Shane didn’t stop anything, so that had to be
a good sign. They were interrupted by a knock at the door. “Shane? I’m
going to the store do you need anything.” Jenny asked politely.
 ”No Jen, but thanks.” Jenny turned away but stopped and approached the door once again.
