*Now Tina’s taken things out of proportion. How will I explain things to her? No! Stop this! I cant go on believing something can happen with her. Its wrong! Its senseless! I don’t have to answer to her, and she doesn’t have to answer to me. She’s 17, I’m 26…there is no way we can ever be together! But why cant I stop myself from falling in love with her…’
After eventually getting rid of Helena, Bette packed up her things and headed to the car. She needed to pull herself together….think about other things….get Tina off her mind.
As the night wore on, she found that getting Tina off her mind was something she just couldn’t do.

A few miles away, Tina lay on the couch, her eye’s red from the tears that been falling on and off all night.
How could this happen? Accepting that she couldn’t be with Bette was tough enough, but now thinking of Helena with her? And she had thought it couldn’t get any worse…
*They’re probably together now* Tina thought sadly.
Everyone knew Helena didn’t waste time. Images of the 2 of them in bed, cuddling….kissing…
*I cant do this to myself.*
She was brought back to reality by the phone ringing. She didn’t have the energy to answer it, not that she would answer it if she had. It had been ringing all night. The first 3 calls had been picked up by the answer machine.
Shane had been the first, asking if she could crash at hers after finishing up her night on the town. She did this most Friday nights so that didn’t bother her. Tina would probably be in bed by the time she stumbled in.
The next 2 calls had been Max asking how she was. He had been watching the footage and realised what had happened between Helena and Bette. He imagined how hard it must have been. He’d offered to tell Helena what was going on but said he wouldn’t until Tina had given him the go ahead.
Tina herself didn’t know what she wanted to do. By now it would probably be too late anyway. Bette would have been loved and lost by Helena, just like all the other woman. When everything came out and Bette realised Helena was her friend she wouldn’t want anything to do with her. In fact she’d probably think Tina had set it up….
As the answer phone picked up the call, Helena’s voice echoed around the room.
‘Tina? Are you there? Please pick up if you are…What happened today? You just rushed off, I would have walked out with you…Anyway, I guess you’re not in. Ohh…You wont believe this but I gave that hot teacher of yours my number.’
Tina screwed up her face at this point.
‘She is one hot lady! That body of hers….Anyway I’m babbling here and I’m a little preoccupied, if you know what I mean. Just thought id see how you were…speak to you soon Hun….bye for now!’
The machine cut off. That confirmed it all then. Bette definitely had Helena’s number. Was Helena talking about Bette having a hot body just from observation? Or had they already met up? Was that why Helena was preoccupied?
Looking over at the clock it read 22:34. They’d probably been out. Helena may have even rang her from Bette’s house….while Bette was in the shower. Who knew?
Dragging herself from the couch she stormed off to the bathroom and slammed the door.
*This is what you get for being such a worry wart!* she thought.
Turning on the shower she got undressed and jumped in the cubicle. As the power spray hit her face she wished it would wash all her cares away.

OK, so what if one of the pictures of Tina is printed and someone recognizes the 17 yr old basketball player as a 24 year old reporter? And tells Bette? Then Bette would know and they live happily ever after! (I know, you wouldn’t make it that easy for us, would you?) Wishful thinking. Love the long story. Thanks.
Could you maybe bring in some more shit for Tina to deal with, cos their just doesn’t seem to be enough,(she said sarcastically). Poor Bette and Tina they’re both going crazy for different reasons. maybe Tina should pass by Bette’s, then she’ll know Helena not there, but please remember to remove the necklace.
Okay, WOW!! What can I say, but I smell a rat with Max suggesting that she wears the necklace. To say he is suppose to be a good friend, I hope he is not trying to find a story with B&T attractiton. Is Max actually going to turn into a slim ball. PPS!!!
Damn this is awesome and love it. Poor B&T and hope they will have a chance to talk and Tina will tell Bette the true and they will work thing out. And Im with artgirl and let see whats next, thanks!
Man Bette and Tina are tearing their insides out trying to not look like they care about the other. Is the 2 months up yet? I don’t know who can last the longest, Bette and Tina or me.
i kno its a cruel cruel thing that they want each other so much but always something in the way…that’s awful! :( i’m really enjoying it tho! reading everyones views on it i gotta keep biting my tongue so i don’t say what else is gonna happen!! u’ll kick my ass anyway lol xx

Oh what tangled webs we weave when we practice to deceive…this is getting good and I’m afraid the drama is just around the corner. Kinda gotta feel for Bette, she probably feels like a perv or something cause she genuinely believes that Tina is 17. PPS
I read a line and thought of that song “Untitled.” “HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE???????????” lol Man I was sitting here thinking, “A 9-year age gap isn’t so bad!” Well, no, if they were 10 years older or more! You really have to feel sorry for B&T in this story. =/
L0L! Now I feel pressured to leave you a long comment!… Yeah, as if I had to force myself… Wow, all I can say is “Wow”! Love what you’re doing with this. It’s really getting painful though… It was bad enough that B&T couldn’t be together for now, but to now have Tina believe (and suffer) that Bette and Helena are an item… How much is this girl gonna take? LOL! Anyway, I still love how your mind works and I kinda love the slowburn, I just wish they were given a break… But I’m hoping on Kit’s involvement for that… A girl can dream, can’t she? Oh, by the way, I have a confession to make… I just HAD to rewatch “Never been kissed” the other day, and although I enjoyed it, I have to say that I like your version so much more… Ha, the power of these two girls! I also really like that you manage to keep quite a lot of ingredients from the original movie. But again, am not sure I’ll be able to handle the slowburn til the very end… Do something, woman!!! Although I can totally see one Miss Porter doing this smooth jog of hers, while being cheered by a delirious crowd, down the stadium stairs and towards her cute blonde!… Yep, that I can picture!!! Was so happy about Kit’s addition. Maybe she can spill the beans, or at least enough for Bette not to feel so guilty about getting close and personal with her not-so-young student! Anyway, I trust you, and i have to say that I am totally enthralled with this story. You’re doing and fabulous job with it! Thanks and please post VERY soon!
knowing how tina feels about bette, max should not have asked her to do that new story… esp if it could cause bette her job

WOWZA jeeeez update now woman. And yes, this was the perfect ending for my Friday. Since I have just finished all of my exams and I came home to this. *sighs contently* The Bette scene at the beginning was hot. ;) There better not be any Belena in this story.
I don’t think I remember what happened in the film, but I do remember seeing it, quite a looooong time ago!, can you tell me, did a woman drop on the steps going into school? or am I thinking of somethin else, coz I’m sure a girl dropped, coz I remember roflmfao at that part, the rest seem to be a blur :(, ooo this under cover sheee’, when Bette, and the girls find out, like FULL BLOWN DRAMA!, and I would not like to be when sheee hits the fans aha, so cute for Al & Dana, woohooo DANISH!!, ooo Helena, girl is acting fast lol!, Post soon
