Shane was sitting at a table in the planet halfway listening to Alice and mostly thinking about Ryan. Just thought of her put a big grin on Shane’s face.

Alice: So yea Ryan ate me out and it was um um good

Shane whips her head around and stares at Alice.

Shane: What the fuck did you just say?

Alice laughs

Alice: Now you’re listening to me. Ryan must have put something good on you because you are in a love daze Shane it’s almost sickening.

Dana: That wasn’t nice Alice. Don’t worry Shane she’s just jealous because she’s not getting laid.

Bette: Tell me about it

Dana: Not that I haven’t offered countless times but Alice is being stubborn.

Shane: We haven’t had sex yet.

Alice puts her hands on Shane’s forehead then her neck.

Alice: She doesn’t have a temperature but I can’t be sure until I use my thermometer Shane turn around.

Shane: What?

Dana: What I think Alice is trying to say is that we’re just shocked I mean don’t get me wrong it’s been three weeks and you know you do move kind of fast it’s just shocking.

Bette: Ryan isn’t like that no offense Shane.

Shane: None taken and I haven’t tried. I want to take things slow with her is that a problem.

Bette: No I think that is very commendable of you Shane.

Alice: Yea I was joking with you but seriously I’m glad to see you smile.

Just the Ryan walks into the planet and Shane’s eyes instantly follow her. Ryan is unaware of Shane being there because she is focused on her destination.

Ryan: Can I have a chai latte please?

The server goes to make her order and Kit notices Ryan at the counter.

Kit: Ryan is that you child.

Ryan turns around and hugs Kit.

Ryan: Kit oh it’s been years but you look good girl.

Kit: Thank you but I feel like shit.

Ryan nods her head in understanding. Bette told her about Kit’s pregnancy. Ryan puts her hands on Kit’s barely noticeable bump and smiles.

Ryan: It’ll get better Kit. Have you tried drinking green tea, it’s supposed to help with stomach problems.

Kit: Thank you because these saltines aren’t helping.
