    Chapter 9 

          As we enter a butch girl welcomes Shane. She looks like someone, I can’t really point out exactly who she looks like…but she looks like someone! 

     Shane: "Hey Jo, sup buddy"

     -"nothing much, you don’t look too good. Got into a fight huh?"-

     Shane: "nothing big" nothing big???? if this is nothing big then she might as well be dead. Shane probably felt my death glare and corrected herself. 

     Shane: "nothing too big I mean I am still alive" and she laughs it off. 

     -"and who might this beautiful lady be?"- and she points at me. I can’t help but blush a little. 

     Shane: "Sorry, so Jo, this is my friend Carmen." and Shane turns at me..

     Shane: "and Carm, this is my colleague, teacher, student, buddy Jordan" 

     ’wait did I hear her right? did she just call me "Carm"…I never knew you could shorten my name. Whatever it sounds sweet coming out of Shane’ 

     Carmen:"Hi Jordan" 

     Jordan: "Hi Carmen" 

     Carmen: "So what does Jordan teach you?" I ask her out of curiosity. 

     The question seems to unnerve Shane a little bit. She probably didn’t want to reveal that to me…

     Jordan:"Well we have this thing going after I joined work here from Carolina. I teach her horse riding and she teaches me skate-boarding. She’s kick ass you should come and check it out."

     I turn to Shane and its her turn to blush now. 

     Shane: " oh come on Jo…I am just average and I am still a 101 for horse riding"

     Jordan : " don’t trust anything she says Carmen, She’s a very fast learner. You should come next wednesday afterschool with Shane" and she smiles at me. Then it occurs to me she looks like Jenny’s new friend Moira. I saw them during our Skype Chat. Moira is a computer buff, so she fixed the connection for Jenny. 

     Carmen: "I would love to. Wait Jordan you know you look a lot like Moira, my friend Jenny’s new friend in Ohio"

     Jordan: "of course I know her…she’s my half sister. We never grew up together but I spend summers with her…she’s a computer geek, that’s all she does. She even has her own website and those shit that goes way over my head"
