    Author Notes:

    “Yes, Bette. I want to move back to L.A.”

    Bette raised her head up briefly. "Not just a baby. Our baby T. you never once asked me if I wanted to mother our second child."

    "I never thought in a million years that you would want to be pregnant. I mean, it was always me getting pregnant, me carrying the baby…" Tina trailed off

    "I thought you understood when we got back together that I had let that Bette Porter go? I am not her anymore T!"

    "I know baby. I know you are not that same person."

    Bette took a deep breath and exhaled sharply. She closed her eyes as the tears continued to stream down her face. Tina leaned her head against Bette’s and began kissing at the tears.

    "Bette, I love you."

    "I know you baby," She breathed.

    "Do you still feel that way?" Tina asked curiously.

    "What way?""

    "Do you still want to have my baby?" Tina smiled, watching for Bette’s coming expression.

    Bette opened her eyes and slowly lifted her head to meet Tina’s gaze.

    "Yes." She said quietly.

    Tina closed the distance between them and laid a soft, gentle kiss on Bette’s tear-stained lips.

    "Bette?" Tina beckoned.

    Bette looked up into her eyes again. "Hmm?"

    Tina began fumbling Bette’s fingers with her own. "After we get married…." She moved her fingers from Bette’s hands to brush away the curls from Bette’s face. "Will you have our baby?"

    Bette smiled briefly and then forced the smile to fade.

    "What’s wrong Bette?"

    "T, I know you’re just asking me because I made a big stink over it. I know you don’t really want me to have a baby…" Bette replied.

    Tina tried to control the rush of intensity within her as she stood up and began pacing in front of the stairs. She turned to look directly at Bette and yelled, "Bette Porter! How dare you say such a thing! "

    Bette just looked up at Tina with a shocked expression at what a scene her fiancé was making.

    "I want you to have our baby. OUR baby Bette! I’m sorry if I didn’t ask you before! I was under the assumption that you didn’t want to physically have kids and so I never asked you because I didn’t think you’d dignify the question with a response!" Tina’s anger began to subside and she took a seat next to her girlfriend, who was staring at her in disbelief.

    1. I always loved the idea of Bette having a baby, I’m glad that she finally talked to Tina about it! Bring on the wedding, moving back to LA and Bette expecting! Can’t wait BRING IT ON!!! lol

    3. Just finish reading the lastest two posted chapters, so the girls are movign back to LA. Question-I live in New York so I now it is huge, but since Bette and Jodi actually live and breathe art, how is it that they never ran into ech other, or did they? And she never told Tina. So weddding, baby and back to LA. Let me guess the drama, Jodi back and Bette secretly looking for Tina’s sister. This is going to be good, or maybe not. We shall see.

    5. well it took me a while but i read all of your chapters… and loved everyone one… my guess is that jodie will be coming back… if not looking for tom and then discovering bette is moving back.. wouldn’t put it past jodie that she was watching them in NY… and as much as i LOVE NY…(I live in NY) i want them back in LA too… they belong there with their family… and i always loved the idear of bette being pregnant… the only bad part about finishing all of the chapters is that i now wait for you next post… great story… (Oh and the donor should be a blond… this way he or she looks like tina… and tina should tell bette about her past… she did nothing wrong… and bette will help her through that… i think i got everything… pps
