The ride home was pretty quiet on Alices and Danas part, but that did not keep their friends whose suspicions of their friends blooming relationship were confirmed when Dana did her thing by not covering the correct side of the phone.

Shane: wait so what happened to Tonya?

Dana: ummmwell, I kind ofsort of

Alice: she dumped that robot!

Dana: AL!

Alice: what, it was an easy question!

After all the questions about how they got to in and out, why they were at the spa, and several other questions, surprisingly none about their current relationship, were answered, they had finally reached their destination, but before they could get out, Tina had one final request.

Tina: Dana, Alice, Shane and I would like to have a little heart to heart upstairs in the apartment if you dont mind.

Both girls nodded hesitantly, but knew they had no choice.

The whole time walking up the stairs was painful for Dana. all she could think about was getting her hands on Alice. She wanted to feel her skin close to hers, she wanted to.

Alice was walking up the stairs following Dana, watching her hips sway, although without her contacts or glasses on, it was a bit difficult to focus on just the *****. She was walking up the stairs just keeping her eye on Dana so she knew where she was going. The it happened.

Dana: oh my god, Alice, you ok?

Alice: yea yea Im fine

She said dusting herself off. She laughed and pointed to the step behind her.

Alice: haha, watch for the step guys, dont want you to trip too!

Alice tried to play it off, when really it did hurt, what else was she supposed to do, beat up Dana for messing with her contacts. She couldntit was just Danas thingyou knowmessing things up, but looking so cute and innocent when doing it.

They had finally reached the door, Tina opened up the apartment for them, Dana and Alice were the last ones coming in, Alice almost ran into the door again so Dana took it upon herself to tease Alice. So every time Alice would take a step forward shed playfully swing the door towards Alice and swing it back just before it could ever hit her.

Dana swinging the door: Whoa! Watch out, is it gonna close, is it gonna open.

She said this laughing.

Alice taking steps forwards then backwards: come on Dana quit it!

Dana stopped as a joke of course, Alice took more than just a step forward as Dana swung the door one last time.

Dana: just kidd *****, Alice!

Alice ran right into the door and bounced back a little at the power of Danas swing.

Alice: Jesus Dane, Im not some ***** tennis ball you can swing at.

She said while rubbing her nose, which must have been broken bcause of all the times shes ran into things today.

Dana: oh god Al, Im so sorry.

Alice: yea Dane, been saying that a lot lately.

Dana leaned into Alices ear: Ill make it up to you later.

Then pushed Alices chin up slowly and smiled cockily.

They both walked into the apartment, Alice holding her nose as Dana held onto her arm.

Shane: ***** what happened?

Alice: Dana decided to play tennis in the hall, can you guess who was the ball?

Tina: Dana! what are you 3?

Tina said as she walked up to Alice to see if she was ok.

Dana: no. look Al, I really am sorry.

Dana felt horrible, she hurt her best friend, and best lover so much this weekend, and it was all physical pain. Alice was going to be as bruised as an old banana being handled by a wrestler. But then again, she was going to make it up to her later.

Just no more suave moves Dana!

Alice: just tell us what you wanted to tell us, so I can go fix my nose, if it still is a nose.

Dana and Alice sat together on the couch, both nervous and in pain, well one was nervous, the other one was more in pain than nervous.

Tina: ok well, Shane and I felt so bad for assuming you had taken youre relationship to a new level and attacking you the way we did.

Shane: yea, so bad guys!

Tina: so Alice we set you up on a blind date!

Alice: what?!

Shane: he is a friend of mine, works at Lather, great guy!

Dana: you set her up? With a guy?

Tina: we just though it would have been nice for you two to go on a double date. Sorry Dana, we thought youd still be with Tonya, so I guess well give you time to deal, and Alice can go on her date all by herself.

Shane: how about it Al? we really are sorry.

Alice: you couldve just given me an apology guys, I didnt need one that came with a ***** too!

Dana: shes right. And plus, ummmarent you seeing someone.

Alice caught on to what Dana was trying to do.

Alice: yea, yea, and shes great, wonderful.

Shane: oh yea, where does she work?

Alice: ummmshes a.ummmdoctor.

Tina: Doctor of what?

Alice: hahadoctor ofnosesyea noses!

Shane: whats her name?

Alice: Clarissa, yea Clarissa.

Tina: is she cute?

Alice: sort of.

Dana scrunches her face.

Tina: smart?

Alice: gotta sayno.

Dana: what?!

Alice looks at Dana.

Dana: Im smartI read that book you gave me and answered all of those questions right on that quiz you gave me.

Alice: Dana.

Dana: well, ok, maybe I missed oneor tenbut still I got a C.

Alice: Dana!

Alice points her fingers to Shane and Tina who are smiling nice and wide, nodding their heads.
Dana frowns and hangs her head as Alice rolls her eyes.

Shane: its guys, we know, we saw Dana get a handfull of ***** outside yesterday

Dana smiles a little but then stops when Alice nudges her in the ribs.

Tina: andon the phonelittle Ms. Dana herewell she covered the wrong end and we heard the whole thing. We know you two are together, and we are happy for you.

Alice: see, I told you she wasnt smart.

Dana: shut up, Al! ( shakes her head) wait so you two just set us up, theres really no blind date?

Shane: no, no date.

Alice: was the guy hot at least?

Dana: Alice!

Alice: am I sensing a little bit of jealousy here?

Dana scoffs: I never get jealous.

The three girls all look at each other then look at Dana.

Dana: when have I ever gotten jealous?

Shane, Tina, and Alice all speak at once about times when Dana was jealous, which was on numerous occasions.

Dana: OK! OK! I am jealous. Geez.

Alice leans in and kisses Dana and grabs her hand to hold.

Alice: dont worry, only time Ill ever go on a blind date is if it includes you and a blindfold.

Dana smiles cockily and leans in to kiss Alice back.
