The minute she got home, Tina grabbed the phone and scooted to her bedroom, already dialing Bette’s number as she sat Indian-style on her bed. After a few rings, Bette picked up. "Hey there." Bette said warmly, already knowing who was calling.
"Hey Bette."
"How was your lunch with Monty?"
"I ended it with him."
"Yeah? How’d he take it?" Not well, I bet. Bette thought to herself, smiling as she thought of the look on Erics face when Tina broke it to him. He was probably so pissed and embarrassed.
"Okay I guess. He kept asking me to give him one more date."
"Are you?"
"I dont think so. If its not there, its not there. Besides, I dont like the way he talked to you yesterday."
"You heard that?" Bette winced. Bette had said some bad things to Eric too. She hoped Tina wouldnt be mad with her.
"Yeah." Tina moved around on the bed to get more comfortable. "So, what exactly happened between you two?"
Bette sighed as she sat on her own bed, getting comfortable as well. It was going to take a while. "Well…"
Bette told Tina the entire story from beginning to end, and Tina didnt interrupt her once. Bette even had to check a few times to make sure Tina was still on the line. When it was all said, Bette sighed again. "And thats how I became Prudey Porter and Eric became Monty."
"Jesus." Tina barely whispered into the phone, imaging how scary that mustve been for Bette, how alone she mustve felt, and how brave she was to stand up to Eric and her friends anyway.
"Tina, are you still there?" Bette asked again, fearing that maybe her story had been too much for her to handle all at once. Shit, I should’ve told her face to face, so I could actually see the expression on her face right now.
Shaking the cobwebs, Tina inhaled sharply. "Yeah, yeah Im here. I-I dont know what to say…what an asshole!"
Bette smiled at Tina’s immature, yet appropriate reaction. "Yeah."
"No wonder you…God I could just…ugh. That makes me so angry and I…" Tina couldnt finish a single sentence.
Bette didnt know whether to feel grateful that her story elicited such emotion from Tina, or afraid that the next time Tina would see Eric, she would do something drastic. "Thanks I guess." She joked, trying to lighten the mood.

This a great story to read. I am so glad that ALL of the girls are in it. I can’t wait till all of them meet and start the gang. I am glad that Bette and Tina are building a friendship that will lead to greatest love affair or relationship.
Wooo! i’ve been waiting for this chapter! hahaha… Yeah i want to kick Eric’s ass.. hahah but as I can see Bette might do that before anyone.. Love this story! Great update :)

Eric is an ass and I know Bette will kick his ass if touch Tinas hand or do something to her, Alice is so funny and crazy too. Cant wait to see Tina and Dana talk again. Ok post soon please, thanks!

Dana must listen Tina or Alice or Bette but listen. Why Eric can`t undersatand the meaning of NO? i hope he get te point and stop to disturb Tina, continue post please
I have the feeling Eric isn’t going to let Tina go that easily. Tina should be careful..I think Bette’s going to be keeping an eye out for her anyway. And Al..what can you say..she’s just so much fun. Hope Dana give Tina a chance to talk to her…she’s not being fair. Thanks for the update…so much better than how S3 is going.
I like this story. Eric ‘ Monty’ should back off…but he will eventually. I like your Alice, nosey and witty. :P I hope Dana will listen to one of them and forgives Tina, Tina seems a bit lost without her best friend.

Just as I thought, this story is still kicking ass. Please let Bette or Tina make a move on the other soon. I also can’t wait to see how the Dana debacle gets resolved. As for Monty, he better get his ego in check pronto. If Bette had seen Monty put his hands on Tina I’m sure he would have been sipping his lunch through a straw…kind of like me not being able to keep solid food down after watching any L Word episode from S3. Please continue and post soon Manda.

Why some boys,men or males can’t take NO for an answer I’ll never know. Hope Tona knows how to play foot-BALL I’m afraid she is going to need to use that to stop Eric I’m not being a coward to night Going to watch the show. I still have a little faith .Maybe Henry will say something Nasty to Bette that will make Tina angry Should have sais Mad,aminals goes mad and people get angry. Tina reminds me of a dog. thanks
