    Mission almost impossible- Pt 3

    Chapter 3

It’s been five months since their mission in Jamaica and meeting Tina and Alice. When they left that Sunday the only information they had on the two were last names and possible location. Call it faith or destiny, but the team was relocated to Los Angeles. Because of the success of the present team and the demand being put on them, the organisation decided to form another team to assist. The new team would be based in New York while Bette and her team operate out of California. They reported to headquarters and briefed. Their first day in California, they were given an assignment, which took them only two days to complete. After they were de briefed the girls headed home.

Bette was sitting in the living room reading and doing what she has been doing for the past five months, thinking about Tina. Her thoughts were always the same. ‘I wonder if she is safe, what she’s doing right now? What she eats for breakfast? Damn, if you’re so smart Bette why didn’t you ask her for her number.’ She closed the book in frustration and went out to the balcony for some fresh air.

    "What’s up?” Shane joined her.

“Nothing, I just needed some fresh air.”

    “You ok?”

    “Yeah, I was just thinking.”

    “Penny for your thoughts?”

She turned to face Shane. She was looking for the right words to explain to her what she was feeling without making a fool of herself. The feelings were all so new to her. She took advantage of obtaining a good and almost free education by joining the Marines when she graduated from high school. For as long as she could remember she was single. When she left high school she left the only girl she loved behind. They decided to make a clean break. It wasn’t serious. They were more friends than lovers. It was mutual and amicable.

    “I’m in trouble Shane.”

    “What do you mean?”

    “Do you remember Jamaica?”

    “Vaguely.”

    “You remember Tina?”

    “The cute blonde?”

    “Yeah.”

    “What about her?”

“I can’t stop thinking about her.” Bette sighed. “Since that night at the concert, I don’t know what it is, but she is always on my mind.” Bette stopped. “I try to stop thinking about her. I mean it was only a few hours but… I don’t know what it is. Am I making any sense?”

    1. I foresee a comedy of errors developing here!! Just kidding, but whenever a “plan” seems to be enacted by any combination of our girls, hilarity generally ensues. Can’t wait for more. PPS

    2. I love B & T fanfic,it’s cute how shy Bette is being about Tina. It’s also good that she is not abusing her power too much because she could be a master stalker and find out everything including what color panties she is wearing for the day, and that would just be wrong for this couple. I hope when they meet Tina has the same feelings for Bette. pps.

    3. Hey bntfan, Am loving this tale. IT has a heady mix of mystery and magic. Bette being attracted to Tina and thus unable to concentrate on her missions is adorable. Shane was a scream when suggesting that she could bug Tina’s appartment. Real LOL moment. Loved Dana protesting that this was all for Bette while haboring the desire to reconnect with Alice. Please get these gals together again and soon. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
