    Meet Me In Montauk; #01

    Helena

The cold wind whipped through me, finding every tiny gap in my clothes, seeping its way onto the surface of my skin.

Where was she? Amongst the crowds, I searched for her face; hers was the face I looked upon with such joy and deep-rooted happiness. But as I stood here, violently whipped by the unforgiving winds, it felt as if all the lights around me had dimmed; the intense feeling of melancholy had sunken in.

Although I still couldn’t see her anywhere, I could feel her exquisite agony.

I closed my eyes tightly, trying to take in the moments, the emotions and the ache that resonated from deep inside me.

I more than understood the finality of being here.

    Bette

“Morning baby,” I heard as I was greeted with a kiss on my nose, “Time to get up for work.”

I stretched, pulling the covers tightly around me, not quite wanting to wake up, “Five more minutes please,” I whined. For a moment, I didn’t hear anything so I assumed that she must have left the room.

Then suddenly, I felt the covers being ripped from my grasp, “Wake up!” I heard again as I opened my eyes to Tina’s beautiful face.

The sunlight shone in through the French doors of our bedroom.  The golden rays accentuated her blond mane; she looked like an angel. She smiled and I felt my heart melt in an instant. Pulling her close, I spooned her, wrapping my arms tightly around her waist, kissing the back of her neck gently.

“Bette, don’t you dare think that by…”

“Shhh,” I whispered, closing my eyes again, enjoying the nearness of her, “Just let me have you for a moment.”

“You’re incorrigible,” she said, threading her fingers through mine and dropping a kiss on my palm.

Tina and I had been together for about five years now and our relationship had never been stronger. I had been in two serious relationships before her, but I have never loved someone so passionately. She brought out a side of me that I never knew existed; she made me laugh and smile so intensely that it sometimes scared me.

We met through mutual friends about six years ago. I could never pin-point the exact moment I realized that I loved her; it could have been during our friend’s engagement party when I asked her to dance. She smiled that intoxicating smile and in that instant, I somehow felt my heart call out to her. Tina was nothing short of amazing and I am so blessed to have her in my life.

    2. I’m a silent reader but even though I love Belena, I hope this story is a Telena/Hasha (just made those up lol). I loved the last story, I just want my Tasha to be happy and have someone to love, so actually I really don’t care as long as Tasha is happy!!

    3. Hmmmm! Very intriguing…uh…Montauk! Montauk…the one on the tip on Long Island? You gonna get my H/B girls there? Hmmmm? Helena had a really great line about the hospitality industry…but I’ve edited…and ain’t tellin’ ya what. Heehee…Have you ever worked in it, I wonder… :P

    4. only because I adore your writing am I going to be patient and allow this to unfold into another great H/B story. LOL. Really like the beginning looking forward to the next post…and I must say you are a prolific writer…I guess your writing block is over…and that’s great for us!!! Cheers
