    “Oh my god it’s beautiful!” Bette said her eyes full of wonder, she had been in the place several times but it was at that very instant that she only saw the spectacular view of the setting sun. No words escaped their mouths as both women took in the sight of the magnificent view before them. The orange sky, the dark brown mountains, the green and flowery surroundings and the sunset giving off the most amazing purple, pink and orange hues; a perfect picture of a romantic landscape.

    Bette closed her eyes and breathed in as she engrave the moment into her memory bank she only opened her eyes when Tina started to speak again “you know for the longest time I didn’t want to be here in this very spot because this was where my older brother Danny died” the brunette was shocked at what she heard, she turned to the blonde but Tina’s eyes were staring at the lake “he was only thirteen when he was diagnosed with leukemia and I was seven, the doctors did everything that they could do but because it was already in its last stage when it was discovered then there was nothing that they could really do to treat it.”

     Bette could hear the pain in the blonde’s voice as she spoke “we were so close, me and Danny and we loved playing here and he was actually the one who taught me how to swim…” the blonde paused as she remembered the happy days she had with her brother “… and then one day while we were sitting here doing our little drawing contest he just suddenly lied down on the grass. I thought he just fell asleep but when I told him that I wanted to go home he wouldn’t wake up anymore that’s when I knew that something really bad was happening…”

    Tina took a deep breath preventing the tears from spilling then turned to the brunette and laughed “I’m sorry, am I boring you with my sad story?” Bette smiled at her “no Tina you’re not and I’m sorry about your brother it must be really hard for you I know how it feels to lose someone”

    “Yeah…” silence enveloped the air for a few minutes

    12. I’m glad Tina made an event out of it. Even if it is a planned seduction it was sweet. I half expected her to go to Bette’s house and take care of business. Happy to see that she tried to make it special inspite of it being what it is. Hope Bette knows the difference between love and lust.
