maybe i miss your body (chapter 6)

    Chapter 6

    Shane’s POV:

I walked home triumphantly, Tito padding along at my feet. I didn’t know how Dana saw him and I didn’t when I’d been looking for him for 2 days. I didn’t even know why he was at the Planet. Just good timing, I guess. At least now I could sleep in an actual bed with my girlfriend, instead of waking up face down on the hardwood floor. I was not going to miss that! I was also pretty relieved about the whole Helena situation. Even though nothing had happened, I knew Tina was going to flip out when she heard about it. If she wasn’t too busy drinking. I couldn’t believe I was wrong about that, though. I’m never wrong about that stuff. It’s like a special talent, like riding a unicycle or walking a tightrope or something. The guys called me Yoda because of it. I’d always complained about it before, but I think if it disappeared I’d actually kind of miss it.

I reached the house and felt around in my pocket for my keys. Unable to find them, I knocked on the door.

“Carmen?” She appeared a moment later, peering through the glass window. “I left my keys inside, let me in.” She crossed her arms and laughed cruelly.

“No way!” She said, her voice muffled through the glass. “I’m not letting you in this house until you find our dog!” I tried to look sad, but I was snickering on the inside.

“Please, baby?” I made a puppy face that normally worked, but I knew wouldn’t this time. She shook her head sternly in response.

“Not until I see the dog!”

“What dog? This one?” I picked Tito up and held him in front of my face. I heard her scream happily and the door swung open. She rushed over to me and took the dog out of my hands, nuzzling him like he was her long lost child the stork had stolen back.

“Ah! Tito, where did you go? You had mommy so worried! Don’t you ever run away again.” I shook my head, laughing at her. I’m not going to lie, she looked like an idiot.

    1. Thank you sooooo much . . . I love you and this amazing fic!!! Thanks for lettin’ my Sharmen make up . . . but if they’re tryin’ to be impressionably parents with Tito, who is a dog, I don’t think they should’ve let him watch that whole play affection right on the living room couch. LMFAO!!! I still liked it though!! I’m glad Tina and Bette ARE finally gettin’ alone. So, keep my Sharmen comin’ and post soon!! LYLAS ;-p
