    Jacqui had been up all night and half the day with Amy…Her temperature was through the roof and Jacqui was having trouble convincing Amy to go to the hospital.

     

    She picked up the phone dialling the hospitals number.

    “Hey Aiden its Jacqui…Is Ashley about? Sure can you get her to phone me back please its important…thanks mate…bye”

     

    “Jacqui I’m fine stop over reacting” Amy said

     

    “Amy who’s the doctor me or you? I’ve been up the whole night watching you throw up…Your temperature is sky high…your not fine” Jacqui snapped

     

    She hated Amy’s stubborn side. She lay down beside her moving some hair from Amy’s face

    “I’m sorry I snapped…I’m worried as a doctor but most importantly I’m worried as your fiancé”

     

    Jacqui’s phone rang.

     

    “Hey Ashley…listen Amy’s got chicken pox but her temperature is sky high and she’s been up the full night being sick…She’s refusing to let me bring her in…I told her that…She’s stubborn she takes it off her Mama…I’m just about to phone her the now…No her brother has them but he’s not being sick or anything?…Yeah ok…See you soon”

     

    Amy rolled her eyes “Oh My God it’s the chicken pox…”

     

    “Bette hi…It’s Jacqui…Listen Amy’s burning up…she’s been throwing up the full night…she wouldn’t let me take her to the hospital so Ashley is coming here…Apparently my opinion as a doctor doesn’t matter as Amy knows everything so hopefully when Ashley states it she will listen…Ok cheers Bette bye” Jacqui said hanging up “Nathan’s fine he’s just itchy”

     

    “Lucky him…Oh no” Amy said running for the bathroom

     

    Ashley knocked on the door ten minutes later…

     

    “Wow you look fantastic” Ashley smirked

     

    “Thanks” Amy said looking up

     

    Ashley examined her…She looked at Jacqui and back to Amy.

    “When did the symptoms start?”

    “Last night…Same as Nate” Amy told her

    “I want to take you in and get some test done” Ashley said straight away

     

    “Listen im fine stop fussing” Amy snapped

    “Ok as a doctor im telling you you’re going…As your fiancé I’m asking you nicely babe” Jacqui said

    “And quite frankly I’m telling you straight I’m taking you in with us or I’m getting an ambulance to come get you…Your choice” Ashley stated folding her arms

    1. Well, that threw a scare into everyone. It’s kind of weird because I thought Tina would have been the strong parent that could take anything and little ms policewoman is the sqeamish one. Bette earned all her loving to come by being the stronger parent for all of them. It is also very loving and shows the cohisiveness of the family that no one wanted to leave the hospital and let Amy wake up without them being there. Loved the chapter and love the story. Thanks for posting.

    2. Yeah the cutest strongest loving family I ever seen too. Tis as hard to read gosh!!!! This is how family should be full of love and support for each other.A dream family. Mothers are always needed don’t matter how old are the childre hey Amy lol. Just love it.PPVS
