Jacqui lay watching Amy sleep; she was gently stroking Amy’s head.

“I hate when you watch me sleep” Amy said with her eyes still closed

“Sorry” Jacqui smiled

“What’s on your mind I can hear you thinking from here” Amy yawned cuddling in closer

“I’m worried about you” Jacqui admitted

“Don’t be I’m fine, I just needed to get everything out my system and it’s all gone now” Amy admitted

“You’ve practically ignored me for a week!” Jacqui stated

“I was angry and I suck at staying angry at you when you look at me” Amy admitted making Jacqui smile “So I avoided you”

“Ok I’ll give you that one, because I’m the same”

“I don’t like being angry at you, it confuses me and I hate being angry with my mum and mama because I genuinely need them a lot”

“Baby we were only trying to protect you and as I said if protecting you makes me wrong I will be wrong all the time because I never will stop protecting you” Jacqui explained “Yes we should have told you but we didn’t know how too”

“Ok” Amy said “I don’t understand but I do, if that makes sense”

Jacqui shut her eyes and shook her head “no quite but okay”

“Thanks for coming to find me last night” Amy said “I’d have fucking killed her if you didn’t”

“Yeah good one to tell our children” Jacqui said “Babe I would gladly shoot her in the head however, we have moved on so much, we both have good jobs, were married, we have our house, we have two kids on the way and most importantly we have a very strong family unit that love us, and you have a wife that would do absolutely anything in this world for you and too make sure your ok”

“I know” Amy sighed “I just hate the fact she’s allowed to walk about like fuck all happened”

“The justice system is a pile of shit, that’s why, trust me babe she will get what’s coming to her, everyone in this town hates her she wont stay here long” Jacqui said “But we need to get on with our life’s we’ve came so far were not going to go back”
