PREVIOUSLY:
“What changed?” I asked again, a little more irritated.
“I opened the package.” She simply said.
“Oh.”
“Goodnight.” I heard them say in unison, before Tina shut the lights and Bette closed the door.
She opened the package. That wasnt so hard after all.

TWO MONTHS LATER
“Bette, wake up. Youre going to be late.” I say shaking her for her much needed slumber.
“Late. Come on I just went to sleep a little while ago.”
“Hey, I did to. You dont see me complaining.” I admit with the broadest smile.
“I have a sick child that didnt want to sleep last night.” I nodded in understanding. “I wasnt up all night fucking my girlfriend.” She added.
“Well if you had one, maybe you wouldnt be all cranky pants in the morning.”
“Thanks for your help , by the way.”
“Look cousin,” I start holding her shoulders firmly while she stands up. “I love little Angie. But the crying thing is more your thing, not mine. I only want her when shes ready to be spoiled.”
“Good to know.” She said quietly walking over to Angelicas crib. Instantly when Bette laid eyes on her, she smiled. More like beamed. Bette has the same effect on Angie too. Definitely a Porter trait.
“Come on, get ready. We have to pick Tina up from the airport in a couple of hours.” I say tearing her away from her little miracle.
“But whos going to….”
“Danis here. Shes making breakfast.”
“You got her making you breakfast already, huh?”
“Stop it. Get ready.” I say swatting her playfully in the arm.
“Dont forget the baby monitor.”
When I walk into the kitchen I see my own little miracle working by the stove. It may be only early morning and we havent really had any sleep, but she looks perfect.
“Good morning, babe.” I say, snaking my arms around her waist. I always take this opportunity to inhale her scent, as I find it irresistible.
“Hey,” She responses, turning around to give me a sweet kiss. Well it started out sweet. It soon turned into a slow torture that felt good at the same time. Her low moan broke the spell, as I remembered that we were in the kitchen. We pulled away, she had a starry eyed expression that Im sure mirrored my own. I sighed contentedly and pulled away from her.

Oh, I’m kind of getting tired of the I-need-time thing. Yeah, you have a life time to figure it out. But hell, Bette shouldn’t also give you HER life time. Maybe walking away and moving on would help Tina to figure things out. Who knows. *shrug* BTW, great chapter. Hope you’ll find some spare time to continue this part of the story.
Excellent update GG13. Thanks for honoring our requests for more of Jude & Dani, Bette & Tina and of course, baby Angelica. Bette’s love for Tina and her patience in dealing with Tina’s seemingly endless drama appears to be infinite. But at some stage, that has to come to an end. Tina is just taking advantage of Bette’s love for her and is not making an equal commitment. I’d really like to know what Tina’s long term plans are. Keep it coming.
I’m with Missyang, I’m tired of Tina not being able or willing to figure things out. And Bette just hanging around waiting—Come on Bette, quit being a doormat!
Sometimes a person can not walk away from someone that they truely love. It does not matter what that person does to them, they are unable to move away. That is what see happening to Bette. She can not get Tina out of her brain and will continue to wait. Tina on the other hand does love Bette but she continues to put her family and what other people want before her own feelings. I don’t think that she is deliberately trying to hurt Bette. Sometimes we can not just walk away from our parents expectations. Even though for 8 years Tina did live with Bette, but when the baby was born it brought a lot pressure and a lot of unresolved issues with what parents and society thinks what a family should be like. I have a feeling that the more time Tina spends with Jude and Dani that she will learn from them. Tina will see herself in Jude and that just might be the ticket to lead her back into Bette’s waiting arms and life. This is great story and I am so glad that you decided to continue it. Even if you are unable to post a lot you will have a waiting reader here in me.
walking away..is not the right thing to do if u love somebody with all ur heart and soul…u should wait for them, and give them time and space to figure things out…the same thing happend to me my ex is confused abt her sexuality, and right now she is dating a guy,,my friend still hates her along with my mum, but i coudnt turn away from her, i always there for her when she needs anyone as a friend,, but with hope that one day she will be completely mine, and if she donesnt, than i guess thats it for us, but i will still keep my friendship with her..watching tina and bette is like watching me and my ex girlfriend, well except for being married or have kids part..but i just realize that everyone has drama in their life, even with the parffect couple there will some complication ,both person will hurt each other , but there;s always one who is stong and one who is confused, so if u love someone u should not let go her easily at least not with put a fight or having a deep understanding conversation and the problems,,,but in l word specially bette and tina they have very less conversation and more fight and sex..i think thats the biggest problem in their realationshi…BUT I LOVE IT WHERE U GOING WITH THIS STORY..WE ALL WANT THEM TO GET BACK TOGATHER, BUT THEY WILL NEED TRUST, AND BE FREE WITH EACH OTHER IN ORDER TO BUILD THE GOOD AND MAYBE PERFECT RELATIONSHIP..SO PLEASE CONTINUE..ITS UR STORY…AND U LOVE IT..THANKS GIRL…………
i normally dont leave comments but with your story i realize i have to. your story has foundation that just keeps building its inspiring ty i think that tina just need to tell bette that she wants her again and jude need to tell her mother to piss off. she is going to be who she wants to be and that is that she doesnt need her permission to love someone. thanx for the great story and i hope to see more post from you thanks again
