Love Revisited – Coming Home Part 52

Kelly sat in her parents’ living room looking out the window. The DA didn’t tell her why her testimony would be important, just that it was. She had a feeling that her past will be changing another person’s future forever. Kelly didn’t want to be the person responsible for that, but she knew she was doing the right thing.
She also knew, no matter what
At 8 am on the chime, there was a knock on Kelly Barrett’s parents’ front door.
Kelly opened the door and a man and a woman identified themselves immediately as being members of the
“May I see some identification, please?”
Both attorneys pulled out their id cards.
“Do you have something for me along with your identification?” Kelly asked.
“Yes, we do.” The female pulled out an envelope and handed it to Kelly.
Kelly scanned the front which had Nancy Richardson’s name and title in the upper left-hand corner and in long hand, “Personal for: Kelly Barrett”. She turned the envelope over and written across the sealed flap was: “friendship rules but”
“Can you wait a moment while I open this?”
“Certainly.”
Kelly tore open the envelope and unfolded the piece of paper.

“Okay, I’m ready to go.” She folded the note and put it in her bag and followed the
“Great. We’ll have you downtown in no time at all.”

Thursday morning came also at the Porter-Kennard home and Bette and Tina once again dropped Angelica off with Kit at The Planet. Kit didn’t mind one bit. She loved having her niece there with her. Because of her work schedule, she didn’t have a lot of free time to spend with Angelica, so these past two days have been a real treat for her.

WOW..that was definitely intense. Nancy is definitely a formidable opponent…Helena better watch out. Man, she’ll probably lie like a dog or turn it all on Faye. I bet she turns on good ol’ Faye…that would be classic Helena – of course, all the while getting herself out of it. Arceextl, thanks for the twofer please continue the story.

Arceextl….the highly charged courtroom drama is just simply a delicious read. I love the “tough cookie” Nancy! Can we expect a future interaction, friendship between the lovely DA with Bette & Tina and the rest of the McCutcheon-Piesecki Gang!
You pen the on goings in the courtroom so well. As I read on I can almost feel the tension in the room. Nancy reminds me of another DA Helen Gamble played by Lara Flyn Boyle in the TV series The Practice. Alice in this story is absolutely so much like the Alice we all know from the original series, great job with this one! Must say I am getting addicted to this drama packed, unexpected twist galore this story of yours presents! Though I don’t hate Helena I do feel that the show did not do much to give Helena what she deservers to quote you “cut her down a peg or two” I especially like this line from Nancy “Someday I’ll see that woman again, and she won’t be testifying for the Prosecution. She’ll have an attorney defending her “ Perhaps I am reading too much between the line here but whoa… bless my heart LOL I’d pay anything to watch this scene on the show just to watch the “ I am rich I can do anything “ Helena squirm!
Yep in my humblest opinion Love Revisited – Coming Home is most definitely in my MUST READ story list!
