    Love Revisited – Coming Home   Part 39

    Nancys secretary returned with the two items and the photocopies.  Nancy put the photocopies in an envelope and handed it to Kelly.

     

    Kelly left the office.   Nancy sat at her desk looking at her notes she had taken when Kelly told her story.   In the column titled Trial Witnesses she wrote Kelly Barrett.  She then resumed her tapping of pencil to legal pad. Then the tap, tap, tap of the yellow no. 2 stopped.   She looked at the two items Kelly had given her.  Picked up one of them, held it up and just stared at it.

     

    All she could say – and she said it out loud this time – was, HOLY ***** *****!!

     


     

     

     

    Melvins visit turned out to be 180 degrees different than Kit, Bette or Tina ever would have expected.  The man had seen the light.  Dont know when, dont know how, but Bette and Kit finally felt warmth from their father and it felt good.   Tina was just amazed.  She actually felt like Melvin welcomed her into the family.

     

    Bette told her father about the attack on her.  She let him assume the cast was part of it.  There was no way she was going to go into the details of Helenas attack on Tina.  She told him she had the stitches in her thigh taken out today.  Everything seems to be healing properly, but there was going to be a trial in the case. 

     

    Kit took Melvin back to the hotel around 10:30.   Before leaving he asked if he could visit tomorrow during the day, if it wasnt an imposition on Tina.  He would take a cab over.  Would that be okay?

     

    Tina at first was surprised that he even asked to visit when only she and the baby were here, but considering the touching behavior he had shown tonight, she said sure.  She told him to come for lunch.   This should prove quite interesting, she thought.  Being with Melvin in the company of Bette and Kit was one thing.  Having lunch with him alone was quite another.

    Angelica had been fed, changed and she was down for the count – well at least until the next feeding.  Bette was taking the middle of the night feedings.  Tina always made sure to have some milk pumped and in the bottles.

    7. Helena is OUTSIDE of her freeking mind. Bette has aleady kicked her A** once, I guess she needs a repeat performance with a little Kit thown in. Not only do I think Tina will not put up with her game, but the rest of Tina’s extemded family,i.e. Shane is not going to stand for it either. Do the MATH Helena, me thinks that your butt is out numbered, me KNOWS that you are out CLASSED. Money can not always buy your way out of jail, just ask those boys from Enron.

    8. Helena is brewing another concoction to get at Bette and Tina. The woman doesn’t like to lose, but has she ever had anything she hated to lose herself? That would be interesting to find out. Please continue.
