    Tina has insomnia…Perhaps Bette has a cure!

    Chapter 6

     

    Tina tried to sleepbut she couldn’t.  After what seemed like hours of laying in bed cuddled up with Bettewide awake, she finally looked at the clock.

     

    ‘Crapit’s only been twenty minutes..good lord.’  She decided to get up and go to the bathroom.  She quietly slipped out of bed.  When she reached the bathroom she closed the door without making a sound.  She turned the nightlight on.  “Okmaybe if I pee I’ll be able to sleep.”  After finishing up in the bathroom, Tina tip toed back to the bed and crawled back in next to Bette.  She closed her eyes and she allowed her mind to drift off. to Bette.  She imagined Bette standing in front of hernaked.  Tina smiled and thought to herself. ‘Oh yeah  …this will definitely help me sleep.’   She knew that if she kept thinking along this line, she would certainly feel like waking Bette up.  ‘Ok I need to think about something else.’  Her mind drifted again.  It drifted to Bette again.all she could think about was making love to Bette.  ‘Damn it. This is not going to work!’  Not knowing what else to doand really wanting to give Bette a chance to sleep, Tina started to get out of bed again. 

     

    Just as she began to slide away from Bette.she felt Bette’s hand reach out to her.  “Where are you going T?”

     

    “Ummm.I couldn’t sleep and I didn’t want to wake you upbut I guess my plan failed huh?”

     

    “Nocome back to bedplease.”

     

    “Bette I really think I should get up and let you sleep.”

     

    “AwwwwSweetiecome onstay with me please.”

    Tina wanted to let Bette sleep but she also didn’t want to leave her side.  So, given the incredibly sweet way Bette had asked her to stay with herTina snuggled back up to Bette.

     

    “Thanks TI can’t sleep if you aren’t here with me.”

     

    Tina grinned and under her breath replied.  “I can’t sleep WITH you here.”

     

    “What T?”

     

    “Nothing Babe.  Please go to sleep.  I’ll stay with youI promise.”

     

    “Ok.goodnight Sweetheart.”  Bette kissed Tina’s cheek and pulled her close to her.

     

    “Goodnight Baby.I love you.”

     

    Tina closed her eyes and tried to go to sleep again.  She actually started to drift off.
