They all let out a sigh of contentment at the same time.

“Hey you guys noticed a bunch of ladies over there?”Shane said as she took a swig of her beer. Both her friends looked at the place she pointed.

“Wohoo beautiful ladies.” Dana smiled lopsidedly.

“Beautiful figures I might add.” Bette munched on the last potato chips.

“They had been looking over us for sometime now.” Shane said. She smiled mischievously at Bette.

“Bette why don’t you go there and say hi? I think the tall brunette there had been practically drooling over you.”

Bette smiled mockingly.

“Very funny Shane why don’t you go? It’s been a miracle that you still stuck with us till now.” Bette challenged. Shane shrugged her shoulders. The two shifted their attention to their goofy friend who was too occupied on her cell phone oblivious to the fact that she had caught the attention of a very sexy red head. They wanted to tease their friend.

“Dana!” Dana was out of her trance. She had been checking on her cell phone for the millionth time hoping that Alice would call.

“What?” She asked startled.

“We think you would get lucky tonight. See the red head right there?” Bette pointed. Dana looked at where her friend pointed and to her surprised a red head smiled at her. She smiled back.

“So?” Shane wiggled her eyebrows.

“What?” Dana wrinkled.

“Are you going to say hi to her?”

Dana shook her head and mouthed no. They looked at each other and chuckled.

“So what the hell are we here if we are not picking over ladies?” Shane asked, smiling.

“Hmm to catch up?" Dana pretended to be innocent and this caused her friends to laugh more.

“Guess we are too old for it already pals.” Bette said. She looked at her watch. “Oppss guys I need to go I have to pick Tina from her office.” Bette gathered her things and stood up.

“I’ll go with you I promised Carmen I’ll help her to install the new hi fi set she bought yesterday.” Shane followed Bette.

“Guys wait I’m going with you Alice will be back in thirty minutes time.” Dana followed her friends out from the bar, all of them ignoring the look they got from the bunch of ladies who sported them earlier. They practically raced each other to the parking lots.
