“I’ve got an idea” Alice stood up “Hey Shay!”
Shay came running in “Yeah?”
“We are all going out, grab your coat” Shay looked puzzled. “I’ll tell you where we are going when we get in the car”.
Shane looked at Alice in confusion “Where we going” Alice smirked at her and Shane knew exactly where Alice was planning on taking them “Oh no, no, no Al. I can not face another inquisition tonight.”
“You don’t have much choice. Let’s go”

Love lost Love gained – Part 6

“Al, please not today. It’s been a long week and I can’t face everyone right now”.

“Do you know how worried everyone has been? They might not show it but they have. So the least you can do is go to the Planet and say hello”.

“They hate me though, especially Helena”

“She does not hate you, she got hurt by the fallout but she has had time to think things through. She talked to you the other day didn’t she?”

“More like made me listen to her”

“Shane just get in the car”

Shane continued pacing outside the mini, having an argument with herself,

‘I can do this. But what happens if they all blank me? Well it’s what you deserve after ignoring everyone for this long. But they are my family and friends surely they will be pleased to see me. They might be, but they will still be hurt. Lets just get in the damn car and see.’

Shane climbed into the car.

“You alright Yoda?”

“Yeah just mentally beating myself up”

Alice smirked as she started the car and pulled out into the road.

“So how have you been?” Alice looked up shocked, they had been driving for 10 minutes in silence apart from the radio playing quietly.

“Pardon?”

“How have you been? Really been?”

“I’ve been okay, been working at the radio. Getting the new chart up and running. Had a girl crash the complete site. That was fun” Alice replied being sarcastic at the end.

“Alice I mean really.” Shane took in all of Alice’s appearance. She looked tired and slimmer than before.

“Like I just said”

“Al.”

“We can talk later Shane, I’m driving at the moment!”
