No one was buying Katey’s half-hearted attempt at diplomacy. Not even Rayne.

Rayne: “She shit on them Kate!”

Jaded: “But it was fake. A prop. Ladies, it was just a WANK!”

Their wanky eyes opened wide as the sound of Alice’s cracking knuckles echoed through the crowd. Everyone stepped to the side, allowing Alice to coolly saunter toward the now defunct Wank-Fest gone wrong. She planted herself in front of Rayne, eyeballing her up and down, causing Rayne to take one step back.

Alice: “Where’s Blu?”

Rayne: “Uh, she’s gone.”

Alice: “And who are you?”

Rayne: “I’m Rayne.”

Katey: “She’s a…”

Alice threw her hand up and silently silenced Katey without taking her dagger stare off Rayne, who was now floundering for a retort.

Alice: “Blu’s friend, right? You’re Rayne…Blu’s…. friend?”

Rayne looked over at Katey and Jaded who just shrugged as if to say, “Well, you are Blu’s friend and Blu fucked up their float so don’t look to us to save your ass cuz we aint doin it! It’s every woman for themselves in Wank-land and you better learn that and quick if you want to get out of this story alive! And NO, the puppy dog eyes aren’t working!” Rayne swallowed a nervous gulp of air and burped out, “Yep, that’s me.”

Alice smiled and grabbing Rayne’s arm, said, “Good, cuz you’re coming with ME!” As they began to walk off, Alice stopped and looked back at Katey, who was unzipping her backpack. Jaded smacked Katey’s arm, causing her to freeze in her tracks. Rayne, seeing her window of opportunity, made the mad dash and ran off screaming, as Alice said, “YOU! What are you doing? What, what do you have there?” Katey looked at Jaded.

Jaded: “Don’t look at me!”

Alice: “Yeah! Don’t look at her. I’m talking to you. Bette!”
