Loss, Life and Love 7
“Yes, I know this is hard for us both. I think Dana would be happy to know that we are taking care of each other.”
“
“Lara, I loved Dana. I still love Dana. I think you are incredible and I can also see why she loved you. Let’s just take this nice and slow.”
******The Gallery
Bette arrived on Shane’s arm, fashionably late. Once they walked in the door a series of applauds began. Bette thanked everyone and shook hands with old and new friends. She looked down the line and noticed Tina standing next to Henry. She looked right into Tina’s eyes. They meet and held for a minute or two. Tina was the first to break the stare.
“Bette, you look amazing.” Tina said when Shane and Bette approached her.
“Thank you, Tina, so do you. How is my little Angel?”
“She is fine. I like the babysitter. I can’t wait to see the gallery, Bette. I hope you have a personal tour for us available tonight.”
“I am sure it can be arranged. Henry, it is nice to see you.”
“Likewise, Bette. This place is incredible. Honey, I think we should buy some pieces to decorate the house with. Let’s go browse and see if one or two catch your eye. Bette, you did a great job. Congratulations.”
“Thank you Henry.”
The evening went on with out a hitch. There were many tears as people went through the Fairbanks Memorial. Almost everyone signed the L book. It was an incredible evening. Nearing the end of the night, Bette and Tina find themselves in an awkward moment.
“Hi. So what do you think?” Bette asked.
“Bette, it is amazing. You did an incredible job with Dana’s room. You should be so proud of yourself.” Tina said.

Go on Tina, go and tell Henry to take a hike, we want the family back together, please post again soon.
TINA GET OUT THERE AND KICK HENRY TO THE CURB!!! great chapter!
I kept thinking about the earring too. I bet the memorial was lovely. I have a feeling that Tina will walk out and get cold feet as soon as she sees Henry and Bette will be left alone.
I have no idea what I have planned. I like to read your comments…ponder it…and sit down and begin writing. I try to see which avenue the readers want.
50 Ways to Leave Your Lover…get out the back, Jack…get a new plan, Stan….Take a hike , Mike…Any rhyme for Henry?
This new Bette is awesome and Tina won’t get another chance. Tina knows she loves and wants her. The girls have told her to get her act together, now Bette is putting her foot down, no room for misunderstanding.Tina, grow up and take care of your family. It would be appalling if Tina actually believed she could screw Bette on the conference room table and go home with Henry. Friends don’t do that to each other, especially when you know the other is as emotionally invested as Bette is. If Tina can’t leave Henry and come to Bette I’d question Tina’s friendship. Put the girls back together.
To azmama– Get out of the tree Henry and set your self free (ha, ha). I think it is more health and a better sign for Tina to leave Henry with a clear counsious rather being (as in other stories) prevoked by him beating her or putting Tina out. This way Bette knows and is reassureed that Tina came back to her and their family out of her own free will and desire to rebuild their family together.
Great …Tina really needs to go find Henry…Smile sweetly maybe even a peck on the cheek…AND DUMP HIM…sorry dont mean to be cruel…but..thats just the way it is….This was how it should be!
Bette is one smart lady, Lets see how smart Tina is?????? Lets see if she has hot or cold feet. Dana roon sounded so beautiful.Lara and Alice loved it thanks
i hope tina choses bette of course…but i’m afraid we’re in for some dramam…and i also afraid that if tina will chose henry, bette won’t forgive her as easy…so Tina better chose Bette
Come on Tina this is you last chance and now go tell Henry to home and goodbuy. Danas room is sound beautiful and we all miss her. OK let see what’s next, thanks!
