Bianca, have you heard from Erica? Kendall asked after Bianca had finished telling her how shed met her two new friends.

No. I dont really expect to, she replied. Kendall… why wont she… why cant she be happy for me?

Kendall felt her heart break as she watched Bianca wiped at the tears that rolled down her face. Bianca… dont do this to yourself, she said as she held on to her sisters shoulders. You know the day will come when Erica will realize how wrong shes been… maybe when were both old and gray, Kendall smiled trying to inject a bit of levity into the conversation. Shell see what shes missed out on – all the moments that shell never have a chance to get back. Mirandas first step, her first tooth, her first… I dont know… everything, Kendall said waving one arm in the air. She wont hear Miranda say Grandma… or any other nickname when can make up for her… shell never see what a wonderful mother youll be… how much you love Miranda no matter what… how proud youll be of h-her…

Bianca stared into Kendalls face, seeing how brightly her eyes shone.

She wont have any of that… and… and thats her own fault, Kendall couldnt go on. The emotions brought on by her past experiences made it difficult to talk.

Its okay Kendall, Mom might not have that, but I promise, you will, she said as she pulled her sister into a hug. What a pair we are.

Kendall laughed.

Miranda is going to love you so much Kendall, I know she will, Bianca said as she pulled back slightly, taking Kendalls hand in hers and placed it on her bulging stomach.

I cant wait… you ever need a sitter – Im there.

They sat together talking about the latest happenings at Fusion, Greenlees disappearance and subsequent rescue by Ryan, much to Kendalls displeasure, for which she had to endure a lecture from Bianca that no matter what Greenlee had done in the past, she shouldnt wish her bodily harm.

Kendall glanced at the clock on the mantel, I think you should take a nap, she suggested.

I dont think I can…

Humor me – just lie down.

Nope – trust me. Youll probably fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow.

Bianca thought about it for a little while. To be honest, she was tired. You wont let me sleep too long, right?

What are sisters for? With that she helped Bianca off the sofa.

Bianca smiled, I love you Kendall.

Yeah – yeah. Go on. She watched as Bianca left the room and went to the bedroom. I love you too, she whispered.

Bianca had noticed that Miranda had dropped down over the pass few days and knew it was only a matter of time before her water broke signaling Mirandas impending arrival.

She sat on the bed, biting her lips. She knew shed have some difficulty falling asleep without Lena. The past few weeks had been very hard, she missed Lena and knew she wouldve known exactly what to do to make her comfortable.

Binks… get some sleep, I can hear you thinking all the way out here! Kendall yelled from the other room.

Rolling her eyes, Bianca lay down.

Bianca smiled. She was touched and amazed by her sisters devotion and knew that Miranda was a huge part of their reconciliation. She was surprised by Kendalls reaction to Marinas sudden appearance and what had happened.

She would have to say that Marina had nearly displaced Greenlee from the top of Kendalls ***** list.

Closing her eyes, she slowly rubbed her stomach. Ill see you soon baby.

Kendall tiptoed into the bedroom and was relieved to find that Bianca had gone to sleep. Carefully exiting the room, she picked up the telephone receiver she had put down moments earlier.

Yes, shes finally asleep. How long will it take you to get here? Great. Me too, shes spoken about you – Im sure its not all bad… Im kidding. Shell love it, okay, Ill see you soon, bye.

After hanging up, Kendall made sure there was enough to drink later, she had a feeling theyd all need it.

Bianca… Bianca, wake up.

Lena? she answered groggily as she wiped at her eyes.

Yes.

Why not? Bianca asked confused.

Lena frowned, Bianca… I… I came to say goodbye, dont you remember?

Bianca, Lena sighed. Weve been over this countless times already.

Lena ran her fingers through her hair. I can see this was a mistake.

Mistake? What the ***** are you talking about! Bianca yelled.

Stop that. Stop it right now! Lena shouted. You are not a child who needs to throw temper tantrums because she hasnt gotten her way. You are better than that.

Get OUT of here!! Bianca yelled, grabbing a pillow and hurling it at Lena, who caught it and put it on the edge of the bed.
